The worst hotel I have stayed in for decades. From no hot water to a jacuzzi that has no plug and doesn't work, scuffed furniture, faulty TV, abysmal and overpriced food and indolent staff, I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Looks like it hasn't been renovated since the 1970's. The Maintenance Woman didn't even know which tap was hot and which cold so she ran cold into the tepid jacuzzi. Fawlty Towers has nothing on this place - it is truly terrible. Steer clear.
Beautiful hotel, beautiful people. Just don’t count on a swim-up bar.

This hotel is located on beautifully-manicured grounds on a beautiful stretch of beach. A small shopping center across the street has good dining choices. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and the housekeeping was immaculate. We ate at the hotel restaurant only once, for Sunday breakfast. We found the buffet to be overpriced. We later learned from fellow travelers that a smaller and more reasonably- priced breakfast is available to order from the menu, but the staff did not inform us of this option. Our biggest disappointment was with the swim-up bar, which was a significant factor in our decision to select this hotel. The bar was closed for the entirety of our stay, with no explanation. When I asked, I was always told that it would re-open, “maybe tomorrow.”. Tomorrow never came, and the bar did not appear to even be stocked. This lack of transparency and honesty from hotel management was disappointing.
