A great place to stay for work and play.

We traveled to Bonaire for work and stayed a few days longer to play. Captain Don’s took care of all our needs. It’s a lovely, well kept place perched above the ocean with flowers, butterflies and lizards everywhere! Accommodations: We stayed on the older side of the property with a view of the ocean. Lovely! The rooms were simple and modest. Bathrooms were clean and beds were very comfortable! Housekeeping was friendly and came every day to provide fresh towels. The microwave and small fridge were both a nice touch. Coffee in the room is just a water kettle and packets of instant coffee and cream - if you want something nicer you’ll need to visit the restaurant. Amenities: the small pool was clean and well maintained with plenty of deck chairs and umbrellas. Perfect for a quick dip after a long, hot day. We were happy to learn both the pool and the restaurant were quiet after about 8pm. There’s a nice dock to jump off for a swim in the ocean and to check your snorkel gear. There is an onsite dive shop and a little gift shop too. Dining: Rum Runner, the onsite waterfront restaurant has a beautiful, breezy ocean view. We especially enjoyed the iguana visitors who hung out near our table and the tiny yellow birds who watched us eat. The breakfast was pretty basic - eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and fruit - and the variety didn’t change much. Lunch and dinner were just okay and the service was slow to non-existent. Bonus: we were especially thankful for Aaron at the front desk who hooked us up with a rental car when everyone else was booked. That man is a wealth of knowledge! He gave us tips for the best beaches and sites to see all over the island. Thanks Aaron!
Great diving with our group of 35 which I believe were all very pleased with our stay here. The rooms around the pool

We were here with 35 others the rooms were clean everything was wonderful. The beds, the amazing sheets and pillows also nice. If anything was needed the brought it to us. There wasn’t a coffee pot in our room but they brought us one. The diving was wonderful Carlos and Sherman were amazing. Can’t wait to dive with them again soon.
