Staff is wonderful, rooms and views are amazing. Diving and dive shop staff are top notch. Run Runners on site restaurant food is excellent as well as the staff.

If you love true dive freedom, Captain Don’s Habitat delivers in spades. We did unlimited shore diving plus two boat dives, and every experience was fantastic. Shore diving couldn’t be easier: tanks were always available, the entry off the dock is straightforward, and the house reef is alive with color and life. We loved the flexibility to set our own pace—grab a tank, giant stride, and you’re immersed in clear water and healthy coral within moments. The two boat dives were equally impressive. Professional crews ran smooth, safety-focused trips with thorough briefings and a relaxed vibe. Sites were well chosen for conditions, groups were well managed, and we were given plenty of bottom time to explore. It felt like diving with friends who happen to be excellent professionals. Support tops it off: friendly staff, efficient gear storage and rinse areas, and an operation that clearly understands what divers need. The whole place reflects Captain Don’s legacy—respect for the ocean and a commitment to making world-class diving both easy and enjoyable. If you’re heading to Bonaire for hassle-free, high-quality diving, Captain Don’s Habitat is a standout. We’re already talking about when we can return. Highly recommended.

Fantastic stay! So easy for divers, everything is figured out beforehand just show up collect your stuff and do whatever you feel like! The staff is friendly and helpful both for diving and dining, we are coming back to Captain Don’s Habitat for sure, wish it could be sooner!!
