Great clean hotel and it is a well maintained property. The rooms could use some maintenance. The staff is amazing. Our beach side server, Fernando aka Speedy Gonzalez was amazing. He made our visit to the beach very enjoyable and pleasurable.

Beautiful hotel with lovely hotel staff! My husband, toddler, and I stayed at the Family Selection Junior Suite with panoramic view. Great room and great views! Our butlers Ulisis and Lupita went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met. The family selection pool staff were amazing as well! Jahaira (not sure if I spelled her name correctly, she’s the one who gives you towels), Miguel and Raul provided us with exceptional customer service! Amy and the other women had so many different daily activities for the kids! From face painting to treasure hunts, my daughter was never bored and had a blast! The water park was very fun as well! I gave it only 4 stars because the restaurants that we tried (El Dorado, Al Adelita, Sampoutori, and Portifino) were mediocre at best. Don’t expect too much. Tiny portions and just not very good. We had room service twice and it was awful. I do not recommend it. The only good food we had surprisingly was the buffet at Isla Blanca. That’s pretty much it. Overall, it’s a super chill and mellow resort. We had just come from Hawaii and it’s definitely a whole different vibe. It’s really just staying at the pool or beach kinda days. I prefer Hawaii vibes at the end of the day.

This hotel has to be one of the most pathetic places I have ever been in. My family is having a wedding here and I wish they weren’t. The staff is lazy, rude and non sympathetic. For a luxury resort the rooms are faulty and the staff is non helpful. The grounds are nice but I won’t be back here anytime soon!

Very nice experience at the resort. Our concierge Ale in building 14 went above and beyond and was a great help the entire trip. Buffet was great for breakfast and lunch options, and the Poseidon restaurant on the beach was great for staying close to the shore without heading back to the main building. The restaurants were also better than expected for on-resort options. Highlights were the steakhouse and thai restaurants, however the Italian left a bit to be desired. Pool was spacious with plenty of daybeds and cabanas available, great for families with smaller children. Boardwalk beach access and spacious, shaded beds made every trip easy with a toddler. The tennis center was top tier with multiple clay courts, including some fully enclosed with shade cover. My 2 year old’s favorite activity was riding the small boats in the canal operated by a designated captain. Great novelty for transportation around the resort. If you are looking for a five star resort with a modern and more sophisticated vibe, this should be a major consideration.
