This is my second visit to Hyatt Regency Coconut Point - the first was for a conference years ago - and I remembered how lovely it was but never had time to enjoy the outdoor amenities. When there was no availability for the original weekend we wanted, we rescheduled our trip to go when we could stay there. Hands down, this hotel is fantastic! Clean, active but not raucous, and well-designed! This hotel is close to things (the airport, the mall, the main roads) but tucked far enough away that you feel like your in a tropical resort once you're there. We were way early to check in but the front desk staff helped us to get bands to sit by the pool and so everything was smooth sailing until our rooms were ready. I enjoyed lunch by the pool twice with stellar service and the sounds of the massive waterfall lulling me into relaxation mode. The policy of no seat saving is really refreshing (who wants to set an alarm to get a seat by the pool?) but didn't seem necessary as there were always plenty of options - even on Saturday. I also appreciated that the staff intervened courteously when kids wandered into the adult pool area. Even the towel check-out and return system is smart. The gym was squeaky clean and a great size with enough equipment for an army even though it was pretty much empty mid-day. The room was terrific! Fresh coastal design, very clean and spacious. We were on the bay-side of the hotel which had a great sunrise and bay view. The west side of the hotel has more of a construction view to the project next door. Is it silly to say that I liked the in-room fridge? I did. It was a perfect size and the shelves adjusted so I could fit a full 1 liter of water in there and my to-go container. Little details they thought of. We will definitely be back!

Gorgeous property and top customer service. Food at the conference was outtanding. Pool area was so beaituflly landscaped. Loads of little nooks and seating areas, including multiple fire pits. Can't wait to go back!

Can't wait to go again! The staff were absolutely wonderful during our entire stay. We were gifted Global status from my son which was a game changer. I probably wouldn't spend the money to return without all the extras we got with our upgraded status. We got free breakfast buffet (Approx. $85 for 2 after all the fees). Our resort fees were waived and valet parking was free with upgraded status. We LOVED the ease of taking the ferry to the private island. We saw dolphins on one trip and even had a dolphin swim almost right up to the beach. No drinks or food are sold on the beach so bring your own. Chairs and umbrellas provided which was great! There are bathrooms on the beach. We paid for our entire stay using Chase credit card points transferred to our Hyatt account. Also, the resort was not busy at all due to the timing of our stay in early Jan. so that was another huge bonus. The hotel is not new but absolutely beautiful inside. We flew in to Porto Gordo and drove approx. 40 minutes to the resort. The weather was amazing all week. We had a room on the 15th floor and fell in love with the view. It overlooked the pools of the resort. There is a ton of outdoor space for day & evening to hang out with friends seated around a (gas) fire pit. We did not use any of the on-site restaurants other than the breakfast buffet.

Excellent facility, amenities and experience - as expected. Have been coming here for over a decade. This resort never fails to deliver as promised.
