Nice resort in sunny Bonita Springs!

Very pleased with the resort. First, the resort is clean and well groomed. The pools are kept up well and the lazy river pool attraction is a relaxing activity as well as the water slides. We found the pool service for food and drinks to be attentive with above average quality. The outdoor pizza oven crew made some good pies and they have a nice variety of pool drinks. While not the quietest place, you can find some privacy and we didn’t have to fight or claim daily pool chairs which was a plus. The staff is fantastic. The breakfast brunch is pricy, but they offer a nice selection to cover most appetites. We enjoyed Tarpon Bay Seafood Restaurant and it is a gem. Great seafood in a higher-end nautical theme. You don’t feel as if you are eating in a typical hotel restaurant and we thought the menu and food were very good. The grab and go store also serves as a coffee shop and they offer a nice selection. My only suggestion is to add a larger ice cream selection at night and they would do quite well because many families wanted an evening ice cream run. The rooms are clean and well appointed. There are plenty of restaurants within a short Uber ride and getting to/fm RSW is easy.
A Family Tradition We Look Forward to Every Year

My family and I recently returned to Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs this June, and once again, it delivered an exceptional experience. We have been coming here for years, and it continues to be one of our favorite family getaways. From the moment you arrive, the resort makes you feel welcome. Adults are greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne, while children receive a special welcome drink, setting the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The staff are consistently friendly, professional, attentive, and genuinely focused on providing outstanding service while making every guest feel valued. The resort itself is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and meticulously maintained. The grounds are stunning, and the variety of pools is one of the highlights of the property. Whether you’re looking for a family-friendly atmosphere, a quieter place to relax, or an adults-focused experience, there is truly something for everyone. The water park area is fantastic and a favorite of our family. The tube slide, dual racing slides, and relaxing lazy river provide hours of fun for both children and adults. Beyond the pools, the resort offers a large field where guests can enjoy sports, games, and many of the organized activities the resort schedules throughout the week. One of the most memorable parts of the experience is the scenic boat ride to the resort’s private beach. Guests reach the boats by walking along a boardwalk that winds through a protected nature preserve, offering plenty of opportunities to observe the surrounding wildlife and natural beauty along the way. While we highly recommend this resort, we have found that visiting during the week provides a more relaxed experience, as weekends can become quite busy due to the resort’s popularity. After many years of visiting, Hyatt Regency Coconut Point continues to exceed our expectations. The combination of beautiful facilities, outstanding service, family-friendly activities, relaxing amenities, and attention to detail keeps us coming back year after year. We look forward to many more visits and highly recommend this resort to families, couples, and anyone looking for a memorable Florida getaway.

Beautiful hotel. Welcome champagne was a nice surprise. Room, lobby and grounds were all stunning. My kids had the best time in the pool area with all of the slides and lazy river. Lots of places to eat and have drinks with lots of little nooks around the property to sit and relax. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Absolutely great experience at this Hyatt. The location is beautiful, and it made the whole stay feel special. The staff were welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and everything was well kept. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Perfect for families, but also couples. Everything was well separated and cared for.
The place looks nice. Looks can be deceiving.

The beach is nice, but there's no flexibility to it. You have to schedule in advance when you want to go and when you combine that with unpredictable weather it simply makes the outing feel stressful. Our room didn't have enough blankets or towels. Our mini-fridge barely worked. The entire hotel shares a single microwave downstairs in the lobby shop. Ordering food was always slow. Every single food item I ordered was overcooked. When my medium-rare steak arrived as a burnt chunk of rubber it was nearly thirty minutes before my waitress even arrived so that I could point out the issue – by which point my entire family was done eating. Ordering from the pool seems like a convenience but it could be 30 minutes before anyone notices you have your flag up. If there are mistakes in the food that is brought out you can either deal with it or wait another 30 minutes to get it fixed. The pools were alright, but I think the chemical maintenance may have had something wrong with it. My entire family developed chlorine rashes within a couple days even though we showered every night. None of us have ever had a reaction like this before. The other major problem with the pools was the complete lack of rules or enforcement of peoples behaviors. Groups of adults would take roped off areas at the base of the slide in one pool. Nearly a quarter of the other pool was regularly taken over by drunk people being loud and disruptive – sometimes blocking the lazy river, cursing loudly, or simply playing loud music. Alcoholic drinks were regularly left *everywhere.* The lazy river also regularly came to a complete halt because people would simply abandon their innertubes and I guess it's nobodies job to clear them out? So sometimes you simply crash into a collection of 10-12 discarded innertubes that have formed a blockade? One night there was music being played downstairs so loudly that I could hear it from my room on the fifth floor. We wanted to dine in a restaurant that night but the music was so loud we had to shout our questions to the front desk and we abandoned the notion. Nothing about this place felt like a resort. The only thing that was premium were the prices. I could have gone to great wolf lodge, spent a quarter of the money, and had a better experience.
