The Perfect Southwest Florida Family Resort
Daydream47495487907 on Jul 12, 2026
Our family just wrapped up an incredible stay at Hyatt Regency Coconut Point, and we were genuinely sad to leave. This resort strikes the perfect balance between a relaxing getaway for adults and nonstop fun for kids. The pool complex is absolutely outstanding. The lazy river, waterslides, and multiple pools kept our daughters entertained for hours every day, while my wife and I could still find quiet spots to relax. The grounds are beautifully maintained and have a true tropical resort feel. The staff deserves special recognition. Every employee we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. You can tell they take pride in making guests feel at home. We also loved the variety of dining options. Whether grabbing a quick bite by the pool or enjoying a nicer meal in the evening, everything we had was excellent. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the entire property felt spotless throughout our stay. If you're traveling with kids, it's hard to imagine a better resort in Southwest Florida. If you're a couple, there are plenty of peaceful areas to unwind as well. We created memories that our family will be talking about for years, and we're already discussing when we can come back. Highly recommended. Hyatt Coconut Point exceeded our expectations in every way.
not worth the $

the costs and fees for this hotel are not worth the value. it is a very nice hotel but nothing that makes it a unique experience
Dont go - there are better places in the surrounding areas.

The amenities and the pool area were very nice. I enjoyed getting the boat shuttle to the beach; however, since you need a room number to make a reservation, it was hard to do because by the time I checked in, everything was full. Luckily, the manager was able to get us a reservation. I think the rooms are outdated and need an update. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The food was average at best. I couldn't really see the fireworks from the hotel, which was disappointing. Overall, it was a decent stay, but it did not live up to my expectations based on how much I paid.
Terrible experience

I had high expectations for Hyatt Regency Coconut Point because the property itself is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, the service completely ruined our stay. When we arrived, we had to wait over an hour while maintenance tried to fix our room door. After all that time, the door still wasn’t working. I spoke with a manager, who responded with an attitude instead of trying to make things right. We were finally moved to another room over an hour later, only to discover that the TV didn’t work there either. We reported it, and the staff showed little to no concern. The resort has amazing amenities and is a gorgeous place to visit, but the customer service was incredibly disappointing. Many of the younger staff members came across as rude, unprofessional, and uninterested in helping guests. A luxury resort should provide a luxury level of service, and unfortunately, this experience fell far short of that expectation. I hope management focuses on improving customer service because the property deserves a staff that matches the quality of the resort.
