I am staying at this hotel currently. I am halfway through my trip, and am a bit underwhelmed. My adult children recommended the hotel highly, due to location, I guess. They did not pay extra for the “club room,” though… The location is great, the room comfortable, the staff nice. But, for the extra $$$ that I am paying for a club room (valued at $250/night , I saw somewhere!), it is definitely not worth it. I usually travel solo, so I tend to stay in for meals rather than go out. The club floors at the standard Marriotts (where I normally stay), offer a nice selection of food and beverages, for which I do not pay extra, as I am Titanium Elite with them. I can’t remember how much extra I am paying here, but I know that it is definitely not worth it. This “club” offerings are mediocre at best. I read that Kona coffee was offered at breakfast. I think not, and it is labeled as “Regular Coffee” and definitely tastes like it, I also read that mimosas were offered at breakfast. I haven’t seen those either…The breakfast offered is similar to what anyone would receive (for free) at a Hampton Inn, for example… The evening offerings are hit or miss. The first night, the soup was definitely watered down, as was the fresh (unpackaged) salad dressing. The fruit is fresh, however. But the hot offerings are ho hum. Tonight’s coconut shrimp and vegetarian noodles were good, though. But, I will not return for the remainder of my trip because the service tonight was seriously sub par and borderline rude. My advice is, to anyone considering “upgrading” to a club room - seriously reconsider. It is not what you expect it to be.

The Outrigger Waikiki has always been a treasure for me. The location is right on the beach so I don't need a car; I can walk to the many different restaurants, shops, etc. that are nearby. The facility has always been clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, and you can't beat the views of the ocean and Diamond Head. I highly recommend this hotel!

Best on the beach! location in the heart of Waikiki. Dukes restaurant had an awesome breakfast and lunch buffet, very reasonably priced. We had such an enjoyable experience staying at the Outrigger Waikiki Resort. The atmosphere was “happy” and everyone greeted us with a smile. We enjoyed our ocean view room. In all, wished our stay was longer and definitely will stay at the Outrigger again.

Great People who genuinely cared. From the valet, check-in, concierge, bell hop, housekeeping, etc...all deserve 10 STARS! It is amazing what a smile and a little kindness will do for people. Would not hesitate to stay here again. And look to Costco travel for the best deal. We were able to add a standard SUV for the seven nights for $90. Plus two vouchers a day for Duke's or Hula Grill until 2:00pm. Also, $60 daily resort fee waived which covered the $60 daily Valet parking and we never waited for more than 5 minutes for the car, Can't beat it. Mahalo to the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort Employees!

Outrigger is our favorite. I live on the island and so I've visited many places over the years, and Outrigger tops them all. The service and amenities are exceptional. I continue coming back.
