Best location

My husband and I stayed here for Thanksgiving and it was a pleasant place to stay. We have stayed there before several times before the remodel but it seems they only remodeled the casino. The rooms have not been touched at all but they were clean. We were disappointed in the slot selection and there were some that were down the whole time we were there. The staff was very nice as well. We stayed in a suite that was very spacious and the bed was decent. The bathroom was a good size and it also had a separate makeup table. Our room also had a wet bar which was nice. There were many food options from a steak house to a deli and then there was also a food court. The best part of staying there was the location because it is center strip and also is attached to Paris Hotel and Casino.
Poor Front Desk Experience

I stayed at this hotel and was extremely disappointed by the service I received at the front desk. When I checked in, I was clearly informed that late checkout would be $45. However, when I went back two hours later to secure it, the front desk staff member named "Tee" suddenly quoted $85 for the exact same request. Very disappointing and felt dishonest.
Far from the best

The elevator AND escalator at the parking garage was down the entire time of my 4 night visit. I had surgery and could barely walk without being on stairs. I watched people break down their wheel chairs and get help from other guest climbing the stairs. Deplorable. No possible reason or excuse to not have it repaired within hours let alone days. Im n sure guest staying at the Paris for more money have had the same comments and hope you make amends to get us back. As of right now I'll stay at a MGM property in future and I stay with you 3xs a years. I also could not get out of the parking garage in under 10 mins becaus I had to call for help every single time due to my card not being registered for parking per the remote attendant. I even went to the front desk to report. They gave me new cards and stated they were activated for car parking. Another horrible inconvenience.
A great selection of Casino games, and the inside ways to get to the next Casino is perfect!

We really enjoyed the hotel and Casino! We were treated with smiles and our sweet lady who cleaned our room was so sweet! Plz plz reward her. Room 1401 Wed. Around noon. Everyone were so helpful and we used the rideshare location also. My daughter went down to the food court and felt very safe, which is very important!
Potential fire taken lightly by staff.

Everytime I come to Vegas, if I have an option of stay I choose the horseshoe casino and resort. This time everything was perfect as it usually is, but then on the morning of my check out I was woke up at 4am to my smoke alarm going off. I could see and smell smoke but couldn't locate a fire. I got up, put on my clothes, gathered my belongings and rushed downstairs to let them know of a potential emergency (although I did see that the smoke was white smoke and not black (which is usually the bad smoke). My interaction with the receptionist was less than savory. She calls whoever and their laughing on the phone back and forth, and then she asks me, "you"SEE" smoke"..... I'm like yes, I saw it.... To which she replies "were you smoking in the room?"..... To this I'm extremely baffled, I've never smoked a day in my life..... But that's your response to someone potentially reporting a fire while the fire alarm is going off in their room??? Why would I rush downstairs with all my stuff to report potential danger to everyone from my smoke alarm going off if I was smoking in the room.... Complete nonsense. Definitely changes the way I see the horseshoe now.
