This was our first time at breathless after recommendations from friends and family. We were celebrating our honeymoon and the staff at breathless welcomed us with a banner on our room door with cake and wine in our room! The views from both buildings are amazing, you have the marina from the main building/ lobby & the beach from the second building/ beach club! The service provided by all staff was amazing, especially by Franco & Daniel at the beach club / party pool!! Franco knew our names by the first day, always greeted us with the biggest smile and warmest welcome , he even remembered what day we were leaving and brought it upon himself to come chat with us and say his good bye. On our second to last day he brought me the fanciest most fun margarita which was a sweet surprise and also delicious. Fernando at spoons / breakfast buffet was also amazing and had great service and hospitality! Also want to give a special shoutout to Nico the beach attendant / lifeguard , we met Nico on our first full day, while lounging down in the chairs on the beach, he was great to chat with, hilarious and super caring to those on the beach, always making sure everyone had what they needed. This resort is a prime location to the marina and beach restaurants and we had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back!

Liz was amazing! Super relaxing and invigorating! The spa was beautiful and the staff friendly. I sat in sauna for awhile and she brought me cucumbers and cold towel for my face. Overall a great experience!

Outstanding location great food lots of choices and a great spot for a friend's couples or groups. Highly recommend upgrading to xhale. Visited many of the different room options in all were similar but very functional clean and the bed was comfortable

Not what I expected. We booked our stay and transportation directly with the hotel and filled out an arrival form prior to our arrival. To start off our flight was delayed and when calling the communicate the Shange of our arrival, we were instructed to call Amstar to communicate the arrival change. Why did I pay Hyatt and then have to do all of the changes? I was blown off during the day by Breathless and tried Amstar multiple times, and no one answered the phone. When we arrived, I was lucky to find an Amstar rep who took care of the problem, but it took some time. Breathless blamed it on Amstar and I blame it on Breathless. Check in was great and overall service was fine. Weird hotel that only allows you to exit and enter the boardwalk from one location and involves a lot of steps or elevators. Had to request multiple times for the minibar to be replenished during our stay. Food, ok but nothing to write home about. Noisy rooms in the morning with the seals and night with the partying people. I think if you are in for a party place this is the place, anything else you would not be satisfied. We have been to Cabo 5 times and this is at the bottom of the list for stays. We chose it because of the location to the town and paid for it. If I were to try to explain it compared to US hotels, I would say it is a dated Holiday Inn.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Nicholas is the beach attendant as he went out of his way everyday to arrange our chairs and beach umbrellas. He even went out on his own to get a family member an inflatable so that she could wade in the water. We will definitely be back and a big thanks to Nicholas for providing such friendly service.
