Relaxation in a perfect location
Christine O on Jun 06, 2026
The location is excellent. Right on the marina and everything is around you. Atmosphere in the guest room building is romantic and chill. There is a smaller more quiet pool with a bar. There is a separate building where most of the restaurants and the party pool are. The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the marina. The mini fridge is stocked with drinks. The overhead shower is a nice touch. The only complaint I would have is that there is no toilet privacy. There is a thin glass door for visual privacy, but whoever you are rooming with is going to hear literally every noise that your body makes on that toilet. It would be nice to have an actual door that latches and perhaps a fan. There are lots of restaurants at the resort. None of the restaurants were spectacular, but most were good enough. Spoon was good for breakfast. Probably my favorite out of the bunch. The Mexican restaurant was pretty good as was the seafood restaurant, Fishnets, although my friends octopus was a little rubbery. My fish was cooked perfectly. The Mediterranean restaurant was ok, however, I would not recommend the falafel. We had chips & guac and watermelon salad from the tapas place, Bites, and it was very good. We did not try the Italian restaurant because I had read mixed reviews about it. This was my first time staying at an all-inclusive resort and I found the portion sizes to be tiny and some of the food to be kind of “resorty.” Frozen maybe? You definitely do not have to worry about portion control here. Aside from champagne I drank margaritas which were delicious. The entire staff at this resort was very attentive and the service was excellent. Franco at the pool was amazing! He took care of our every need. There are lots of activities throughout the day that you can participate in if you want to and the staff makes it really fun. Pool games, water aerobics, pool volleyball, free tequila tasting, cooking class, etc. I would definitely recommend this resort if dining options are not a major concern for you.

Breathless is a beautiful property with a perfect location! Being on the marina allowed for incredible views. It also allowed you to walk the area and you are close to bars and restaurants. The beach is perfect for lounging and swimming and the pool always had fun entertainment.

Breathless Cabo San Lucas Resort & Spa was an excellent experience. The Atmosphere was astounding with some of the best views a person could ask for. The room was very clean. The service that Michelle and Alejandra gave was outstanding, along with the rest of the crew. I would absolutely visit this resort again.
Expectations exceeded!

I believe the website does not reveal the true experience. I was initially torn about staying for my milestone birthday because the food seemed "mediocre" and I was not sure if this was an upscale "party" adult resort. I am sooo glad I chose this location. We went in May 2026 and the weather was perfect! The resort was not at full capacity so we did not have to wait for anything. My guests and I were very pleased! Once we checked I was in love with the fragrance in the lobby! We had a wonderful time and everyone was very cordial. However, here are a few superstars that I will remember: Rual - excellent service.[I actually appreciate that no one pressured us for services] Luis is a wonderful mixologist- he is at the PERFECT location (main bar in building 1)- he was the only person I wanted making my drinks. While he was off Rodrigo was my next go to!! I cant forget about the gentle "giant" Pedro who kept us engaged and laughing at his knowledge of "hip hop" terminology. Bites was one of my favorite restaurants. ("Alex" - Alejandro was so sweet). Fish Nets had the BEST grilled tuna and oyster Rockefeller I ever had. Bryan provided very consistent service and was very patient with our large group . I can't forget Williams at the beach. My sister absolutely loved his service (I spent more time in the water). Carolina was always so sweet at Spoons. Ventura always helped care for us. [I can admit that I expected more breakfast options for the buffet]. Shouts out to the cooks at Fish Nets. This was the only restaurant we ate at (downstairs). (They probably cooked at all but enjoyed so much). Ruben (security) kept a watchful eye at the beach and at buildings. [I do prefer wristbands vs keycards considering you need access to go between buildings] The dj (with spiked hair) played a variety of music. It was a good vibe. The beach was wonderful. (Yes the current is still strong but so glad they have a swimmable location). The resort location is perfect- walking distance to every thing! Two thumbs up. I hope your experience was as mine.
