ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL WEDDING EXPERIENCE

Was at Marquis Los Cabos, April 9 - April 15 for my daughters wedding. All I can say is UNBELIEVABLE, we literally had the times of our lives, literally the best week of my life. We had 80 guests (friends and families) attend this destination wedding and to say things were great is a complete understatement. If you've ever thought of having a destination wedding please think about contacting Mariana at Marquis. From the time we arrived at Marquis we were treated like royalty and everything from the accommodations (casitas) to the pools, the service, the drinks, the activities, the weather (April weather in Cabo is UNBELIEVABLE), the availability of food, the welcoming party for our guests, the rehearsal dinner (poolside), the mariachi band that played at cocktail hour after the wedding service for our guests and than led us over to the wedding reception which was again in a half open, half interior area of the hotel and of course the wedding itself inside of the open air lobby of the hotel were ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR and BEAUTIFIL and have left me in AWE!!!! I would like to actually give a shout out to a couple of the fabulous workers at Marquis who absolutely made this a truly special event with their hard work and obvious dedication to their craft at Marquis.......... Angel - who is part of the staff that keeps guests busy with activities and shows. Angel remembered our guests and continually greeted, laughed and made all feel special from sports activities in the afternoon to the shows t night. Hector - was actually a "trainee" on the waitstaff. He was buy our side at every wedding function and was over the top accommodating and mqking sure we had what we needed at ALL times. Sergio - was part of the service team by the pool everyday. To say Sergio was worked is a complete understatement. He was tested with this group of 80 New Orleanians that drank and ate at the pool from 10:00am till 5:00pm and he also was UNBELIEVABLE at his craft. MARQUIS LOS CABOS you delivered and for that i am FOREVER GRATEFUL!!!!! I WILL BE BACK!!!!!

I am still confused based on the reviews the service that we received. The resort is nice and the views are amazing. The food is okay but not worthy of 5 stars. The first night arrival no reservations were available so our options were a dismal buffet that no one was at or room service. We opted for room service, the room service and the room staff were the best service of the resort. The next night reservations at the Italian and after taking our order no one came to our table for 45 minutes and brought the entree, then our salad. Ended up going back to our room for dessert. The final day for lunch on the app started at 11, since we were checking out at noon. Were informed that lunch would not be available til 11:45 but we were welcome to the breakfast that had been sitting out. Tried to order room service again, it was no longer available on our app, went to the coffee shop to get a sandwich and were informed that they could not make one. Best meal was when we Ubered into town at Gus Tacos. Wouldn't recommend.
