Excellent Moncton option

Convenient location, with pleasant front desk staff. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped; convenient (paid) parking available. When busy, the breakfast room can feel quite crowded—but the food is good, with lots of variety.

We stayed at the Residence Inn in Moncton for two nights while transiting through NB to PEI. Great location - central to downtown main street and right next to the Tidal Bore park. The rooms were clean, roomy and comfortable. The breakfast was a bit of a zoo on the weekend. They were not ready to serve the large groups of guests that come through between 8.30-9.30am. Kitchen couldn't keep up with food / coffee / clean plates. Also a struggle to find a table (they finally turned one of the meeting room on 2nd floor as an eating area, which helped with the crowd). Parking on site is a bit pricey...but in downtown Moncton, parking is free on the weekend so we just parked on the side of the road. Overall a pretty good stay - will come back again if we're in the area.
