Horrible stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This was a terrible trip from start to finish. After spending a lot of time on the phone with a travel agent to ensure we had a first floor room, we were not put in a first-floor room as I had specified I needed for my elderly mom with arthritis who has already had one hip replacement. The folks at the hotel did not seem to care. They gave us a whole $200 in credit, which was barely enough to cover a pedicure at their overpriced spa. The place had little to no class. The food at the three restaurants we tried was overdone and/or flavorless. The little beach bar had good beef & veggie patties, but that was the best thing we had. There was construction outside our window and the a/c unit leaked in the room. And, to top it off, 10 of us got what my urgent care doc thinks was E-coli because we all had terrible stomach cramping, fever and nausea for DAYS after we returned home. I would never return to a Sandals, definitely not this one. I have traveled all over the Caribbean and been to Jamaica four times. This was easily one of the worst "vacations" I have ever had.

The room that they show on their website is not the room that we got. Our room overlooked a bush with flowers on it and a highway. Across the street from the highway was a warehouse and a field that people where in every day. we ask for a room change they could not accommodate us, which I do understand but their website is not true to what a garden view is in their picture.The staff was very friendly all were very nice. The food was all very spicy or very garlic. I will not be returning to this sandals again. We also asked 4 times to fix the toilet which never happened.
