We had pre booked 4 nights at the Crowne. Mainly because of its location to some of the Broadway shows we wished to see, including Chicago and Book of Mormon. Unfortunately our stay was blighted by many issues and we had to move rooms 3 times in 4 days. They included no hot water (in 2 rooms!!), lack of temperature control which resulted in less than 2h sleep one night. Multiple visits from maintenance staff. The rooms were very tired, dirty and desperately in need of maintenance (see photos). The only saving grace was the efforts of the DM on night shift, Sahmir and GM Natalie (later in our stay) to mitigate these issues. Whilst there were mistakes made and they were unable to mitigate our issues to our satisfaction, they tried and did their best considering the many deficiencies in the hotel itself. If, not, this would have been a one star review. I think the outside photo of the hotel sums it up, so much maintenance required. I could not recommend this hotel.

Do NOT stay here. The management does NOT care, they lie to ihg Corp. The phones do not work. The internet does not work. The TV does not work. The furnishings are awful. I bought my own toilet tissue, face tissue AND towels. Awful experience. I'll be staying back at the Hilton from now on.
