Disappointing beyond belief.

Didn't get off to the best start when our coach driver from MBJ told us that he had to pick up his friend Popcorn on the way to taking us to our hotels, his friend did get on the bus and thought it was ok to sell weed on the coach, both had a very abrupt manner , I know people were intimidated by this. Then we get to our room and its ant infested? Go for dinner and the dining room staff are next to useless, end up getting your own cutlery, napkins and water, same at breakfast and lunch. They want you to tip them before your served, not how we do it, we tip if we've had good service. My advise would be don't go off the complex unless you really have or go on an excursion, but be prepared to tip everyone who you come into contact with, be it drivers, tour guides etc. What they pass off as entertainment is a joke and the entertainment team are very self indulgent and play what they want to hear, very very loudly and very very late. Beaches are beautiful and complex grounds are beautiful. I personally will not be going back.

The entertainment was good. However the place needs a facelift both in the day and night was good. The staff at the main dinning room and the front desk were so sweet. The room service people and entertainment persons were awesome. The food was just ok( It lacks variety). The rooms were clean and cool. The property is ok and would do well with a little facelift. I understand that it’s not a five star but there’s room for improvement. The main dinning room staff and the front desk staff 10/10. The bar is lacking however the staff are pleasant. The entertainment 8/10. The food 4/10 ,the rooms ok, The A Lacatta Restaurant 1/10. The manager 10/10. The property 5/10. The gym 10/10 I would have like to see like glass bottom boat or a party boat. Overall experience 6/10
