A nice stay!

Andrew O on Jun 25, 2024

Not much to complain about this hotel! It wasn't too noisy/busy, the location isn't hard to get to, the beds were comfy enough, the free breakfast had a more than satisfactory selection (don't expect anything too fancy), there was a good amount of parking stalls, and it was a relatively short drive to Honda Center. It's also on the border of Disneyland which seems to be the primary goal of the people staying here. The only thing I would complain about is the shower's hot water pressure being extremely high -- I may as well have been showering in a hurricane. I wouldn't let that stop me from coming back though, the convenience of everything else is enough for me if I'm ever in the area again.

Great base camp for Disney!

We are a family of 3 and stayed at the Springhill Suites Maingate while visiting the Disneyland resort for a few days in May 2024. The hotel is well within walking distance to Downtown Disney which was a perfect base for us to explore from. We took the Monorail from downtown to Disneyland the first day and quite often found ourselves back downtown for dinners and a character breakfast (that was definitely worth it). The hotel’s breakfast was great for us to fuel up on and even had some gluten free bagels for us (although you had to ask). The rooms are a great size for us all to sprawl out and the beds were comfortable after full days at the park. The value for the money here was top notch. Would highly recommend.

From the beginning till the end our stay was phenomenal. Super clean and hospitality was amazing. I want to give a special thanks to Linda for her excellent hospitality towards us she made us feel welcomed! In general we had a great time and definitely recommend this hotel away from home.

Great family experience

Ali A (Washington DC, District of Columbia) on May 10, 2024

My stay at Springhill Suits got off to an interesting start. A power outage left the hotel and the vicinity around it without electricity, so when I arrived the place was pitch black. My first instinct would have been to request to be transferred to another Marriott property, but because we were jetlagged we decided to stay. Nina, the hotel manager, was extremely polite and professional. She got us checked in and gave us lanterns and extra water. The next day municipal services restored power and the rest of our stay was enjoyable and comfortable. The rooms are large and spacious. The one we stayed in had the trundle bed, where the softa converts into a daybed and another mattress slides out from under the sofa. This set up allowed for our two small children to sleep comfortably, one on top of the sofa and another on the slide-out mattress. The room was also equipped with a microwave and a fridge. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the tram service that operates between the Disney parking facilities and Disneyland Resort. Hotel breakfast is served close to the lobby. The options are basic but very good. My kids loved spreading nutella on their waffles!

Just ok.

Room was clean but basic. Walls are paper thin. You can hear conversations and baby crying late into the night. Beds uncomfortable. Breakfast had a good variety but just average. One morning hot foods were cold. 15 minute walk to Disney. Not bad but after long day in the parks it was tough.
