A not so great stay

Donna N (Erie, Colorado) on Feb 05, 2024

Well for someone that has to eat healthy, your food was tasteless, hi carb and surgery. Hard to communicate with maids. Should have hot tub for weary bones! In the plus side, front desk personnel were accommodating.it would be great to have a safe in the room.

Quick Disneyland Stay

KatInCLE93 (Cleveland, Ohio) on Jan 11, 2024

We stayed at the Springhill for our Disneyland trip. It wasn't a long stay but we wanted something that was relatively close to the parks. And while this resort is close to Disneyland it is kind of far away at the same time. You back up the parking structure but you have to go around the block to get to the structure and it is a 20-25 minute walk depending on your speed, then you can take the tram to Downtown Disney or else you have to walk all the way through Downtown Disney before getting to the parks. It is a lot of walking and not as convenient as some other hotels which are on the parks side of Disneyland. Overall though the stay was enjoyable. It was clean, offered a pretty good breakfast every morning, had a hot tub that we used every day. And I saw others mention about how the water pressure is high in the showers... it is! But we loved it! Best shower we have taken. Getting the temperature to work is a bit tricky it felt like it was super hot or it was cold, but we eventually figured it out (don't put the setting on heat even if it is cold!). For the price it was a great stay. Also Bonus you can see the fireworks really clearly when they go off.

Good hotel but not close to restaurants

itravel100 (Perth, Australia) on Dec 29, 2023

Stayed in the hotel for 4 nights while visiting Disneyland. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is not situated that close to food outlets with a good 20 minute walk to anywhere to get food. The hotel offers a reasonable breakfast each morning but finishes at 9.30am on a weekdays which was too early for us on a couple of mornings after long days At Disneyland

We will be back

Dave S (Westlake, Ohio) on Dec 07, 2023

If you are going to Disneyland stay here. It is a short walk to the transportation center and it takes you right to the front door. The clean was clean and good sized. The breakfast was the usual but it did have a nice selection. The staff was friendly. But remember it is close to Disney so you will see lots of kids every day. I did drive to Hollywood for 1 day it was not a bad ride but I stayed off of the highway. They do charge to park everyday but I got there at 930 am and they let me park before check-in and I went to the park. I actually walked back in the afternoon and took and break before going back to watch the fireworks.

Good location, needs better temperature and humidity control

PeckishPanda on Dec 05, 2023

Good things: As long as you don’t need to walk to anything outside Disney, this is a great spot. The hotel is directly around the corner from the Disneyland parking garage. The street around it is quiet and residential (so less road noise than the hotels on Katella). It seemed fairly clean, except… Bad things: the room smelled vaguely of mildew. The water pressure in the shower was so strong it was nearly painful (and might be *actually* painful for a child, because there’s no way to turn it down or really adjust the angle). The AC doesn’t really maintain a stable temperature…it just gradually gets warmer and warmer, and *just* when it starts to feel uncomfortable enough that you consider adjusting the thermostat, an ARCTIC BLAST gusts through the room and suddenly it’s too cold. Also, they charge $7 a day if you want WiFi faster than email speeds.
