Above and Beyond!

The night before our trip, my daughter hurt her finger. We took care of it the night before at home but the following night at dinner it was still bothering her (she could move it and it wasn’t swollen so I knew it wasn’t broken). I went into the store looking to see if they had sports tape, bandaids etc so I could wrap it. WELL, William, a worker in the store went into the stores own personal first aid, got tape, went to Provisions, got a disposable cup and he created a finger split for her. I thought this was just so amazing/kind how he helped her. He even told me about an urgent care across the way just in case. Thankfully her finger isn’t broken but just sore!
Great hotel. Perfect position, massive heated pool, lovely bar and restaurant.

We stayed in the hotel in December 2024 with the intention of spending most of the two weeks in the theme parks nearby. The hotel is perfectly placed for all the Disney parks, with each one being less than 15 minutes away in different directions. Welcome was great with complimentary drinks supplied to all of us. We headed straight to the room to drop our bags then the restaurant for a late meal as we were hungry and too tired to go exploring. The wife had salmon and said if she could have it every night of the holiday she would be in heaven. I didnt fancy much of the veggie options, with it being a fish restaurant by design, but had a decent cheese pizza off the kids menu for 6 quid. Room was ok, couple of issues with trying to work out how to use the shower and the air con and the sliding door of the wardrove wouldnt stay open, but nothing too worry about. Actually when we could get the shower to work it wouldnt cool down and was too hot to get under. We went to reception on our way out for the day and by the time we got back it was fixed and never had any other issue with it. Pools are HUGE. One was not heated so cold in December, but the other was a nice luke warm temperature so me and my son spent many hours in there at the end of the day when it was practically deserted. Man on the towels was really friendly and the bar service was gvreat as were the margaritas. Live music in the bar was really good. I spent a few nights in there on my own racking uop a bar tab and relaxing to it. Friendly bar staff attended to my every need. Would definitely recommend as a great base for a holiday. Would love to go back at some point in the future.
