My thoughts on Rosen Inn International

The hotel is very nice but there are some small faults and some major problems. Some of the minor issues are that the pillows are big and feel like a rock, and also, pool water stings your eyes and makes your vision fuzzy. The major issue within the hotel is that the cleaners are not white either and are any of the workers, and since Florida is known for racism. I think that's where I started to get worried. But aside from that all of these workers are extremely polite.
Great location for the money..BUT

For the money and location I think it's a four out of five... BUT There are plenty of positives for the hotel The rooms are really peaceful despite the high capacity of the hotel. Location is great for Universal, $10ish for an Uber depending on demand. Pool, bar, shop all good and the reception and security staff all great! Plenty of free parking too. However The rooms are small and dark, for a family of 4 with teenagers and 4 suitcases, it was too small, beds are small doubles, the lack of counter space is an issue and the sink beside the fridge and microwave is the only one in the room. The WC doesn't have one. The cleaning can be hit and miss, we aren't fussy people but it was clear that the minimum was done, that said with all our stuff in a tiny space I can understand it to a degree. There is no balcony, so you end up drying wet clothes on the walkway outside your front door. Which is also your only window so there isn't that much privacy from passers by. Biggest gripe was that there was a fire hidrant that runs up through room robbing us of the limited light by taking away a third of the window and chunk of space inside - see photos - we stayed in 2210, so this effects rooms below and above ending in 10. When I raised this a few days in with reception, Brandon couldn't have been more helpful to get us moved. Overall it's a great place bang for buck and although I wouldn't stay again, it's a great spot.
