This was a perfect family vacation. We had people from two years old to 70 years old and there was something for everyone to do. rooms were large so we were able to gather, food was good. The kids loved the swimming pool, we hope to be able to go back again!

Excellent resort and friendly staff! Stayed in one of the villas and the room was one of the best rooms I have ever stayed in. Very quiet property and convenient to all of the restaurants and shopping in the area. The value of the villas was very competitive based upon everything that you receive. Highly recommend this property if you are visiting the area.

This is a very nice hotel with a great resort set up for kids and adults. The lazy river is especially fun to go down. The rooms are nicely decorated, with modern furniture that is in very good condition. The bathtub did look like it was skipped over in the revamp, a little worn down but was working fine. They have a great spa, a well equipped gym (although the peloton bikes were often not working), a really fun outdoor game area for kids, and a coffee shop on site for any snack needs. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Room service was the reason we’re not giving this 5 stars. We ate a fair amount on site, most meals were good, but our final room service the morning of check out had a piece of toast with mold on it. The staff took the issue very seriously, but for a hotel of this caliber it was shocking. We didn’t have these issues with any of our other meals, so hopefully this was just an isolated incident. Good hotel that we will likely return to when our son is older because that pool area is so fun.
Now a Grand Hyatt and I agree!

This is my third stay at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells resort. I absolutely love all the upgrades and remodel they recently underwent. It certainly is worthy of the move up from Hyatt Regency to "Grand Hyatt" status! The new lobby and restaurant are gorgeous!! The service at every level is impeccable!! I want to keep this gem to myself and not share how wonderful it is. :) Special shot out to Athena at the front desk who was professional, friendly, and accommodating which made check in a breeze. Thank you to all the staff at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells. I can't wait to return in March for BNP Paribas!!!
Not luxury

This “resort” was a huge disappointment. My stay the night before at the Ontario Element was far superior in every way. I mistakenly assumed this would be an upscale resort, but that couldn’t have been further from the truth. First, if you’re expecting a warm or hot shower, prepare to be let down. The hot water was unreliable at best—fluctuating between tepid and cold, with no consistency. Despite reporting the issue, staff claimed it was working, but it never improved. It’s frustrating to deal with such basic issues when you’re supposed to be relaxing. The room itself was mediocre. One bed had visible urine stains on the sheet, which was unacceptable. The showerhead leaked constantly, and the outlet near the bed didn’t work, meaning I couldn’t charge my phone overnight or keep it by me for the alarm. Small inconveniences like this really added up. The arrival experience was chaotic. When we pulled up to check in, the area in front of the main entrance was jammed with cars, creating unnecessary confusion. The lack of organization was a bad first impression. Adding to the frustration, when we tried to watch a movie in the room, the TV kept switching back to the hotel’s main channel every few minutes, making it impossible to enjoy anything. It was just one more thing that underscored how poorly this place was run. The so-called “hydration room,” where guests are supposed to be able to get filtered water, was another letdown. It was run-down. The resort overall lacked the amenities I’d expect for the price. There was no breakfast buffet or anything that felt truly “resort-like.” It felt like a place trying to give the illusion of luxury but failing completely to deliver on value or quality. If you’re looking for a true luxury experience, this is not the place for you. However, if all you care about is having a spot for your kids to play in the water and you’re okay with poor value for your money, this might suffice. For me, the experience was not worth it, and I would not recommend staying here.
