My spouse and I recently spent a long weekend at Garza Blanca in Puerto Vallarta, marking our third visit to this establishment. Regrettably, it will also be our last. I generally hate posting negative experience, but this stay deserves one: 1 - Aggressive Sales Tactics: While it is understandable that Garza Blanca finances its growth by selling apartments to clients, we were dismayed by the aggressive behavior of their vendors. Like most other guests, we were pressured to purchase property, despite expressing our desire to relax and unwind. This persistent sales approach greatly detracted from our overall enjoyment of the resort. 2 - All-Inclusive Offer: We opted for the all-inclusive package, expecting a hassle-free experience. However, we found it disconcerting that the hotel employees continuously solicited tips, despite having paid for all-inclusive amenities. We believe that including gratuities in the reservation fee would significantly enhance the customer experience and alleviate unnecessary discomfort for guests. It would also be more beneficial for their employees, I suppose. 3 - Unauthorized Charges: Upon check-out, we were astonished to discover a charge of over $200 for a restaurant we did not patronize during our stay. Despite our insistence and the agent’s inability to provide a receipt for this expense, the promised refund was not issued. Furthermore, our request to speak with a manager was met with unprofessionalism, as our agent referred to the alleged manager as "bebe” (baby), undermining our concerns and leaving us feeling undervalued as customers. Given the diverse array of accommodation available in Puerto Vallarta, it is evident that Garza Blanca no longer upholds the standards of excellence we had previously associated with their brand. We will certainly suggest our friends to seek other accommodation in Puerto Vallarta.

The staff makes the experience so memorable! Jorge, Hugo, Javier and Izmael at the rooftop bar made our stay so fun they are amazing. The food is incredible and the presentation is amazing. The whole resort is so classy and luxurious I will never stay anywhere else in Cancun!

The staff at Garza Blanca are the most amazing people! Everyone greets you the moment they see you! Our room attendant Marisol Lopez went above and beyond and made us feel so special. The beds were amazing, and the view from our room (4111B) was absolutely breathtaking! Can’t wait to visit again ??

We were happy. Friends recommended us to book this place and so glad we did! Veronica in house keeping was exceptional. She always spoke to the kids in Spanish which was great practice for them. She had a big warm smile every morning. Tito was outstanding! A man who wears many hats at the resort. The best for us however were his guided hikes. He gives a cultural experience with humor and compassion. I highly recommend the hikes. Super safe with police security. They are challenging but super rewarding especially your waterfall hike with a dip on the river! It’s a must do. We took our 11 year old and 3 year old. It was difficult for the 3 year old but made it work. Tito saw us later in the week by the pool, went above and beyond to find a spot for us. Bonnie at the front desk coordinated a private chauffeured tour. I am so glad we ventured out to some small villages in the area, visit the bazar, old town and the boardwalk. All with our private tour. The food onsite was so good! The service was fast and always with a smile. We brushed our teeth with the many bottles of water they provided to us. Our room fridge was fully stocked with an arrangement of beers and sodas, which was so nice!! Maybe one of the no eats touches of the resort. Yes, we tip… happy to do so as these employees hustle all day long in the heat, have perfect English and really make you feel good.

Just spent a week in complete paradise with large family group. We cannot honestly think of one bad thing about this trip! Garza Blanca had incredible staff, food and accommodations. My kids absolutely loved it! Would highly recommend!! I’d give it 20 stars if I could!
