The Ultimate in Perfection, Cleanliness, and Luxury - This All-Inclusive Resort Sets the Bar High!

There are so many positive things about Barcelo Maya Tropical that 5 stars are not enough for this dream resort!. The service, detail, and cleanliness are unrivaled. I read many reviews before booking my trip and I found the comments about not having enough chairs to be very false - there are many seating options available at both pool and beach. We were also able to make reservations at the a la carte dining options we wanted during our stay with no issues. Everything was clean - it seemed anywhere you would go there would be staff cleaning and sanitizing something. I found all food options to be fresh, some options are even cook to order in front of you. The staff was immensely friendly, helpful, and capable of providing assistance to all of our needs. Our personal favorite was the pool entertainment staff, these folks are very good at their jobs, and are dedicated to making your stay enjoyable. Shout outs to entertainment staff Ana, Isabelle, Ari, and Damian - you all made our visit an unforgettable vacation! We never felt pressured into purchasing anything, and as far as tipping is concerned it was never expected of us, and we were never told to tip - however- please tip the folks that deserve it - they are working hard to make sure you enjoy this serene paradise!

The resort has beautiful grounds and beaches. Pools are large and very good with swim up bars, Rooms are comfortable and clean and staff always friendly
