Daughter had knee surgery and we stayed at the Rui Plaza

My daughter, who lives in a third floor walk-up apartment, had knee surgery so we needed a place to stay not too far from her apartment and near the hospital. The Riu Plaza was terrific. When we got back from surgery, my younger daughter went and spoke to the front desk who immediately found us a wheelchair for her sister. They were super helpful. The location is great. My younger daughter and I enjoyed walking around the waterfront. The breakfast buffet is amazing. I stayed there before for non-surgical reasons and look forward to staying again.
Breakfast scam

The breakfast is in a room and you can’t take coffee out or any food. You have to line up. And they say it’s included but it’s not it is a fee per person and when we checked in they didn’t put our kids down so we were all not allowed to eat unless we wanted to pay additional $25 each. Ridiculous they check in you in and not be sure to tell you this.
