Great hotel and lovely management! :-)
Rachael W on Dec 11, 2025
We stayed here for two nights following a cruise. Room was lovely and bathroom was pleasant although the shower and sink water pressure could have been better. Breakfast also had a good range of produce to choose from and we had no problem getting a table at 0830. The first morning we had a rude awakening due to unexpected roadworks taking place directly outside our window. We spoke to the management who offered to change our room although we declined as we were out on tour all day and didn't want the trouble of repacking and relocating. So they kindly offered us a partial refund which was appreciated. I have already recommended this hotel to others since our stay - thank you!
Perfect Stay!

Loved our stay. Room was perfect and the hotel is located within walking distance to sights and restaurants. Everything was great and staff was very accommodating.
Good but expensive

The resort fee is crazy. The rooms are already really expensive and then another $82 - for what - no extra service or anything. And the ‘suite’ is just a small normal room. And the price of things in the little store are 2-3 times normal prices - maybe the resort fee can cover some of that.
Far Below Riu Standards – Extremely Disappointing Stay
Michael F (West Palm Beach, Florida) on Dec 09, 2025
I recently stayed at this property and was very disappointed with the overall quality. I’ve stayed at many Riu Plaza hotels before and have always trusted their consistent standards, but this location fell far below what I’ve come to expect The first room I received was extremely outdated, and after switching rooms, I found torn carpet, poor television reception, and even feces along the bottom of the toilet bowl when I first entered. The bathtub looked old and worn, and I ultimately had to request another room just to have a walk-in shower. The breakfast area was large but felt more like a cafeteria, with tables and chairs that reminded me of school furniture rather than the comfortable setups I’ve seen at other Riu Plaza properties. My stay lasted only two days, but the experience was well below the standard associated with the Riu brand. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes improvements.
Comfortable hotel in a convenient location
GuideClub2013 (Tallinn, Harjumaa, Estonia) on Dec 09, 2025
The hotel has large, comfortable rooms with large, comfortable beds. Good mattresses and pillows. There's a refrigerator and kettle. It's in a great location. Excellent breakfasts, absolutely fantastic! There's a grocery store and lots of souvenir shops nearby. The air conditioner in the rooms heats well, but it's quite large and noisy. This could be a problem for light sleepers.
