Check-in took longer than expected though the initial service was great, that didn’t exactly last. Had a ceiling leak which displaced from our room for a day.. they comped a spa treatment for the inconvenience. Food was good at some places, but often took a long time. Be prepared to spend a decent chunk of change if you decide to travel off the resort.

We stayed here during the recent Easter holidays with two teenagers. The hotel is beautiful with great dining options, lovely pool areas and 10/10 for service. It has a quiet ambience compared to some of the more resort-type hotels although was equally welcoming to families with young children as well as couples. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were warm, friendly and efficient. A lovely stay.

No pool towels, no ice. Fitness center is small with broken machines. Meals on menu mislabeled: vegan options include dairy, vegetarian options include fish. Food options are limited and remain the same daily. Food takes too long to receive once order is placed. Staff is nice, but this place is a hot mess! Their afternoon tea consisted of self-serve iced tea, tea bags, hot water, coffee, and a few pastries in plastic wrap on a plate. Also, you have to take a boat to the beach (something I didn’t research ahead of time). Don’t waste your money on this resort and go somewhere else that has their stuff together!!

Having never done a solo holiday before this one, I was apprehensive, but everyone here was so welcoming and lovely that I was immediately put at ease. I would particularly like to thank Hilda, Clarissa & Dionne at 1461 (helping me feel comfortable dining alone!) Andre at the Cove bar (delicious drinks), Marilyn at the Spa (magic hands!) & Barbara in Housekeeping (sooo friendly). The staff here make the place what it is, friendly, happy and a joyful place to stay. Like others say, this is definitely not a party place, so if that is what you’re looking for go elsewhere, but if like me, you’re after peace, sun & cocktails by the pool and some lovely spa treatments then Zoetry won’t disappoint.

Just got back from a wonderful 4 days at the zoetry. It’s listed as a 5 star hotel and for the area it is in, it’s just that. It’s tropical luxury that fits into its surroundings and isn’t trying to be something it’s not. What makes this a 5 star hotel is the people. My wife and I have never encountered better people at the many places we have stayed over the years. Special shout outs to Hilda, the chef at the cove, Sunshine, and Chef K. Hilda is the kindest woman who goes above and beyond to make you feel like you’re at home. She was the sunshine to our morning every day! Food was outstanding. The fish tacos and beef burger and fish and chips I could eat every day. Thanks for a great stay!
