Small resort with Superstar staff
Chris - Tina Y on Mar 29, 2026
Great vacation! One of the nicest resorts we've been to...and the view from the penthouse..WOW. One of the best things about the resort we liked was the size. Only 121 rooms, which allowed for the great staff to remember us by name. Shout out to Neil, Ronnie, Mandel, Allison, and Dumplyn. With all-star staff like these superstars, people will keep coming. If management is reading this, give them a raise to keep them. We didn't have a bad meal. Top notch food from the chicken tacos by the pool to all of the menu items at the restaurants. We had one plumbing issue early in the week that was resolved instantly after speaking with Neil. Also, the shuttle to the beach was great, and the operator Dave, took 8 of us on a sunset cruise after hours. He is a great champion of St.Lucia. If you're looking at St.Lucia, give this place a look
Beautiful grounds, but poor service, long waits, and inconsistent dining made the stay frustrating and unwelcoming.

Where do I even begin? This was truly one of the WORST resort experiences I've had in some time. We'll start with the good: the grounds are lovely. They keep them well-maintained and the photos are accurate for the outside views, it's a beautiful space aesthetically. But photos can be deceiving and that is where the beauty of this place stops. From the moment we arrived, the energy was OFF. The welcoming staff was not the least bit welcoming, if anything, it's as though it bothered them we arrived. This became a theme throughout our stay. We weren't given a proper break down of the space, or toured the facilities from the front desk staff. They didn't have our room ready even though it was a 4pm arrival. No welcome drink, just very dismissive service from the start. We already felt like a burden. We ended up having to go to the concierge to answer any questions about the place and she was very kind and did invite us on a tour of the grounds. She also helped answer all our questions about dinner reservations, excursions, etc. Our main issue throughout the week was inconsistency. Room service, for example, took hours to arrive one day (literal hours) and then the next day it was right on time. Service was all over the place with housekeeping forgetting to refill the mini bar some days, forgetting to replace our towels or never giving us washcloths, or leaving bags of other rooms dirty lines on our balcony. Our room did not have robes or slippers, while our friends did upon arrival. The pool service was even worse, with very long waits for food. No attention to allergy requests (no onions), we had to send food back more than once across the resort bc of this. Also important to note that neither room service menus nor dining menus had allergen info. So proceed with caution and patience knowing that your food will be sent back. If you have any specific disability needs, I would also avoid this place as there are no elevators. Everything is stairs here. If you ordered a drink from waiters around pool, good luck. They came back watered down and room temp from sitting out if they came at all. All four of us tried a variety of drinks over the week and couldn't land on a drink we really enjoyed. They weren't well-balanced or weren't right at all. The restaurants were fine, however it was a surprise and delight when an order was correct and tasted good. We rarely had this at the same time. Breakfast was the biggest let down. At a resort that's this costly, we were expecting a lovely buffet with local flavors. We were given mushy, over-ripe fruit we couldn't eat more than once. The pancakes and french toast were hard/dry and they didn't have syrup while we were there. If you have dietary needs, this would be a difficult place to stay. There's also cats roaming the property, including dinner spaces. Usually this wouldn't bother me, as cats are cute, etc. But here they would fight under tables and run under tables throughout your meal, causing us to either jump up out of our chairs or squeal multiple times throughout the week in fear they would scratch, which according to staff, they HAVE. A stand out of the week was our boat trip, we were so glad to be away from the resort for a day and the concierge and boat team did a fantastic job with that excursion. We also really enjoyed one employee named Kwan. He was such a delight and checked in on us often. He was one of two employees at this resort that actually engaged with the guests and made us feel like it's ok to be there. We were constantly met with service workers who seemed very unhappy and so it became really emotionally draining to even order a coffee because you don't want to upset anyone. We felt like a burden. We had many conversations wondering if the staff is treated well and enjoy working there, because it seems as though it's a rough go for them. We're usually easy breezy and have traveled all over the world with no issues, so it feels very "karen" to write this review. But I wish we'd known more about the service before coming and that food would be such a hit/miss. And this was only a peek into the week, there's certainly more. We will never be back to this establishment but are grateful for a little time in the sun.
Do not waste your time and money

Overall experience was terrible. The quality of food and the quality of bar drinks were the lowest I have ever experienced at a resort. I am not sure how Hyatt owns/operates it. Certain staff were amazing, like Quan and Ella, but their exceptional customer service and attitude cannot make up for the other deficits of the resort. I ordered multiple bar beverages for the 5 days I was there and I never finished any of them, the quality of ingredients was extremely low. Example, I ordered a Margarita with a salted rim. The "lime juice" was, for lack of a better term "skunked" and the salt used for the rim was IODIZED salt. I watched the bartender pour the iodized salt into the container and then put the rim of the glass into it. The was just one example. The service was extremely slow at the sit down restaurants. When ordered room service, we waited for nearly 2 hours. I could go on and on. Underwhelmed, disappointed and feeling robbed that my money was wasted on this experience.
Just don’t go

Spent so far 4 days at this so called 5 star hotel owned by Hyatt group. Most of the staff are lovely and welcoming! That aside if you like substandard food which I have even had the unfortunate pleasure of it mostly being cold even when ask for it to be heated up it comes back with a new dish just as cold. Service on 50-basis can be great however if you are looking for consistently good service then this hotel isn’t for you. Some staff clearly haven’t been trained to any level as they have been rude and dismissive. Also please don’t expect to be served your turn at the bar or restaurant this isn’t happening. The hotel is very dated. No toilet seats in the main toilets the toilet checks or manager checks of the hotel clearly haven’t been done. Reception staff are amazingly friendly but zero explication on arrival where to eat or even getting to the man made beach on a boat. Don’t even think if you any mobility issues of getting on the boat as there be no chance. When you get there on the beach as this five star hotel charged me 30 dollars for a cocktail clearly the bar men didn’t understand all inclusive. (The beach belongs to the hotel). Will say one thing positive had a lovely massage at the spa. It’s very steep hills in places so again be careful if you have mobility issues. The hotel does have a buggy but as I was informed by the manger at the cave bar there was none available even yet when I eventually got to reception they got me one in minutes. Last point is beware there are no elevator so watch out for the five flights of stairs. Not a 5 star hotel.so much so I’m looking for fights now cutting my holiday sort by 4 days.
Not the Wellness Retreat Advertised

Completely opposite of what’s advertised. I booked this expecting a quiet, luxury wellness experience—as Zoëtry promotes—but there’s pop music blasting all day right outside my room. I even paid extra for a room with a view, thinking it would feel more serene, but it’s directly in front of a swim-up pool with constant noise. I came for reflection, meditation, and wellness—this place feels more set up for drinking and parties. The room isn’t up to luxury standards. Floors are scratched and worn, and overall cleanliness feels off — see the photos. I called to ask for a room change. They said they’d check and never got back to me. On top of that, I was quoted $300 for a taxi to a hike, and even the sauna requires an extra fee. Overall, it feels like a money grab. Not luxury, not relaxing, and not what I signed up for.
