Just got back from a wonderful 4 days at the zoetry. It’s listed as a 5 star hotel and for the area it is in, it’s just that. It’s tropical luxury that fits into its surroundings and isn’t trying to be something it’s not. What makes this a 5 star hotel is the people. My wife and I have never encountered better people at the many places we have stayed over the years. Special shout outs to Hilda, the chef at the cove, Sunshine, and Chef K. Hilda is the kindest woman who goes above and beyond to make you feel like you’re at home. She was the sunshine to our morning every day! Food was outstanding. The fish tacos and beef burger and fish and chips I could eat every day. Thanks for a great stay!

The hotel claims to be 5 star. 1 star would be generous. The rooms are run down and dark. Often the pictures of the hotel are shown at night with the lights on. Our room was so dark during the day with so little natural light we needed the lights on all of the time. The big problem was the swimming pool. It was filthy. it was impossible to see the bottom even in the shallow end. It had moss and bacteria everywhere above the water line. After complaining someone sprinkled vast quantities of chlorine granules everywhere around the pool without rinsing the area. Anyone using the pool area that day would have found their clothes bleached without knowing why. The main swimming pool was actually used not for swimming but for guests to stand and drink in. We used to refer to it not as a swimming pool but as "Wetherspoons" which is a cheapish public house chain in the UK. At the side of the pool there is a sign listing the things not to do in the pool, one of which warned of a fine for episodes of vomiting or diarrhea in the water. Having stayed there, I can see why this is referred to on their sign!

Everything was great. I could rave about so many staff. I love this place. I’d like to call out Sunshine the Sushi chef at the pool bar. Her sushi and poke bowls are off the chain, but it’s only beat by her cooking talents and delightful personality. Her name fits her demeanor. She should be recognized. She’s amazingly accomodating.

My wife and I just returned from an 11 day holiday at this resort. I have reviewed many of the comments provided, some of them mixed. However, I can honestly say that we had an excellent vacation. The rooms were spacious, and the housekeeping services excellent. We dined at 1461, as well as the Cove and Hurricane Hole. The service and food in these restaurants was excellent. We liked 'The Cove' as its dock side, you get that nice tropical breeze, and you can sit at the Rum Cave and chat with other guests for an after dinner drink. We also really liked the creole night on Wednesdays, where traditional St. Lucian food is showcased. After a day poolside, we often sat dock-side at the Hurricane Hole, which had great food, great mixed drinks and 'Pitons', great service and a spectacular view of the yachts and CAT's coming to moor or dock in the harbor. The 'Yachties' who sail in are fun to talk to, and have great stories of their adventures. Over-all the resort had a very laid back 'castaway' vibe. The beach is not great, but its a very close complimentary water taxi ride. If you are looking for a 'beach' vacation this is not the place. But if you are looking for rest, relaxation, quality and service, look no further! We travel the Caribbean pretty extensively, and I can honestly say that this resort provided the service, quality and rest we needed. We will definitely be back. Special shout out to 'Keya' and all the staff at Zoetry Marigot Bay.

We stayed in the marina and purchased Day Passes. The various restaurants are excellent and the staff is exceptional!! Everyone is so helpful and friendly and they remember all of the guests by name! A special call-out to Sunshine the sushi chef..... she is wonderful and an excellent sushi chef. Can't wait to go back for another very special Poke Bowl made by Sunshine!!
