Amazing place to be to have a chill holiday with family or friends or couple , all the staff are very kind and caring, Allison in the bar she rocks absolutely worth it every single minute in there, 24/7 services I couldn’t ask for anything else.
A really pleasant holiday, with some reservations

The reviews for this resort are mixed. We went on the 29th December and left 8th January 2025. Positioned in possibly the prettiest bay on the island, it is true that the location is remote, but suitable if you wish to relax and are happy to experience to local food and amenities. Its about 1 hour 15 minutes from the airport along some pretty rough roads. Our welcome was as expected and we received our drink and cold towels. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived but since check-out isn't until midday and many arrive around 15.30 - 16.30, it is unsurprising that there is this issue. We had a pleasant hour in the pool bar, there was some sushi (covered with cling film that day but it ends up open on some days as the guests do not recover it after use) and some local curry, jerk chicken and rice and we were accommodated within the hour. Attention to accessibility of rooms and suites should be paramount, particularly for the elderly or the less mobile. Many of the rooms or suites are on the third floor of a rustically designed resort on the side of a fertile tree-cladded hill and there are no lifts - you have to climb many steps. This is unsuitable for the less fit or those who suffer breathing difficulties. We were lucky and were re-allocated a lower level room the following morning but heard that some who stayed before us were offered no such alternatives as the resort was fully occupied. Make it clear that you need an easy access room if this is the case. Some of the accommodation is dated, true, but we found that most things worked for most of the time, certainly to an acceptable level. There are a few local restaurants apart from those listed in the resort. The food was generally a high standard and reasonably varied - pleasingly, you are not offered the same buffet every day and other than a quick buffet breakfast as an option should you be in a hurry (but what would you be rushing for in such a relaxing place?) There are a number of restaurants from which to choose each meal, and a varied menu. We were "all inclusive" and the food and drink flowed all day and night. There also a few offsite restaurants but we did not try them all. Advice is to try local food rather than expect your fillet mignon to be rare or blue, because doing that is bound to disappoint! There is no fillet and the steak seems to be at least medium. You can however get a medium rare home-made burger and these are delicious. The service was fine, given that you are in the Caribbean. It would score dismally in a time and motion study, but all of the staff have good intentions albeit some talk a better game than their delivery, so as long as you are prepared to be patient, it will be a good experience. The pools however, have inadequate numbers of sun loungers for a resort of this size. The pool rules state that no reservations are permitted but this is not enforced so unless you like to rise at 6am, forget a sunbed by the pool. However, the beach is just over the bay, a one minute ferry ride and the welcome and attention you receive is outstanding. Thank you Gimel for making our vacation such a great experience and yes, there are chickens running around and guys trying to sell you stuff but you are in the Caribbean - don't go if you expect any different. Overall, a really relaxing holiday a in a resort where everyone tried to please, even though they didn't succeed, all of the time.
Disappointing Stay at Zoëtry – Far From the Luxury We Expected
MahaliaJessup (Woodbridge, Virginia) on Jan 07, 2025
As an experienced traveler, I expected Zoëtry to deliver on its promise of luxury. Unfortunately, our stay was plagued by issues that made it anything but relaxing. We arrived at 4 PM, only to be told our room wasn’t ready. This left us scrambling to get ready in a friend’s room for a wedding boat ride. When we finally got into our room, it had numerous issues: a broken phone, curtains off their track, poor water pressure, a sewage smell, and missing essentials like robes and an iron. Despite repeated requests, none of these problems were EVER resolved during our stay. Adding to the frustration, we were charged the full amount for our stay at check-in, despite an almost $700 deposit made through the wedding coordinator. The manager dismissed our concerns, and we left without a resolution or refund and a month later still no resolve despite multiple attempts to reach out to the resort. Service was unresponsive across the board, forcing us to spend more time troubleshooting than enjoying the wedding we came to celebrate. Zoëtry failed to deliver even basic hospitality. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone seeking a seamless or luxurious experience.
Alison by the bar is lovey

Alison by the bar was awesome. Great service and gave us a lot of attention. So lovely and really looked after us. The pool at the top is the best place to be, lots of vibes and a ton of great people. Also the sushi is great to soak up all of those cocktails.
DISAPPOINTED!

I stayed at Zoetry St. Lucia and unfortunately, I was left disappointed. While the hotel grounds and landscaping are absolutely beautiful and picturesque, the property itself is quite dated. The rooms, in particular, are in dire need of an update. The furniture is old and falling apart, and there is a noticeable lack of ventilation in the bathrooms, which causes excessive condensation. This not only creates a musty smell in the room, but also leads to mold spores in the bathroom. While the hotel has potential, the service was another letdown. Unfortunately, the staff was not friendly or welcoming, with the exception of a few individuals. Sunshine at the pool was a standout—she was friendly and approachable, as were the guys on the catamaran and those selling timeshares. But overall, the service left much to be desired. Another issue was the lack of pool towels—there never seemed to be any available, and the rooms didn’t have enough either. It’s a small detail, but it really added to the frustration. On the positive side, the food was great, but the dining experience was often interrupted by the presence of numerous stray cats. It became a bit uncomfortable trying to enjoy a meal with so many cats roaming around. I travel frequently, but sadly, this is a resort I will not be returning to. While the setting is beautiful, the outdated rooms, lackluster service, and other issues really detracted from what could have been a great vacation.
