Easily, one of the best airport hotels!

This is rare type of airport hotel. It is inside the airport, so no shuttle needed. Moreover, it is really soundproof! Believe it or not, but I am a light and sensitive sleeper, but didn't wake up at all due to planes and airport noise. Convenient for departures/arrivals flights and longer layovers. Plus it is Fairmont, so quality and luxury details abound. Competent and friendly service, well appointed rooms. No complaints, the cost was slightly high, but not unreasonable. It is certainly good for one night stay, not more, it is an airport hotel, after all!
Watch out for additional charged nights!

Watch you billing statements! Got notifications about an additional night charged on my wife’s card when reservation was paid online with a different card. Desk clerk on duty stated that a $100 fee was needing to be paid and would be released when we check out…. 5:00am we get notification of an additional night stay was charged. Wife checked other reviews and found that they do this to many others and money is not returned.
Fairmont Corporate Failed But Manager Exacerbated

I travel a lot. I make over 20 hotel reservations a year. Often these reservations are made months in advance. Each time I make a reservation I print out the confirmation. The confirmations lists the dates, room type, cost, amenities like breakfast, etc. This is the case whether booking directly or through an otc. I travel with these confirmations in hand. I booked this reservation directly through Fairmont. I had 3 stays at Fairmonts on this trip, booked several months prior. Unlike virtually every other hotel I’ve ever dealt with, Fairmont does not have a printer-friendly version of their confirmation and the confirmation “layout” is “hostile” to those trying to print out their confirmation. With a bit of time spent, I was able to print out the confirmation. This confirmation lists dates and cost. It does NOT specify if breakfast is included. My first stay’s confirmation that included breakfast looked exactly like the confirmation of a stay a week later that did not include breakfast. When I was checking out I was told I owed the cost of breakfast. I was shocked. Turns out I had reserved without breakfast months prior. Later, I remembered that was true as I had an early flight. It’s true that I was hurried at breakfast but as it was paid for (I thought) I went ahead and had it. I explained what occurred and asked to speak with a manager. He told me I shouldn’t bother printing out confirmations. Right!! As if this situation would have been improved with less information! If I had the Fairmont app all details would have been clearly listed. He asked to see my confirmation. I was able to show him how neither confirmation mentioned breakfast details. Then, something that really bothered me, he leafed through all my travel documents, especially studying my plane reservations. This made me highly uncomfortable. Why was this any of his business? He then deducted 25% off the breakfast cost. While I appreciate that, I feel it was inadequate. If Fairmont had conducted business as it should, their confirmation should list important information like whether or not breakfast is included in a stay and the problem would not have occurred in the first place. After the check-out process was complete, the nice desk clerk eagerly said let’s go to Fairmont’s website and it will list all the details of your reservation as the app would do. She was quite sheepish and apologetic when she saw that it did NOT list whether or not breakfast was included!! She said she would put a note on my profile to always inform me if breakfast was or wasn’t included in my stay. This is a problem created by Fairmont corporate. The manager cannot control that. But what was within his control was how he handled it. It wasn’t a quick process. It added over 30 minutes, necessitating a rush to the gate. He nosily and inappropriately studied (he didn’t just glance over) airline documents, etc. He should have recognized Fairmont has a blind spot and I shouldn’t be penalized. One last issue… I was the first person to arrive at breakfast. It was entirely empty, yet the hostess seated 2 more tables directly next to mine. Both of these were men talking loudly on their cell phones. The one right next to me was screaming in Punjabi on a facetime call. It was miserable. There is no excuse to have not spread out by at least one table in an empty restaurant with well over tables. Is there no common sense present?
Beautiful hotel with incredible views and easy departures.

This hotel is absolute perfection in my eyes. Everyone was so nice and caring after a canceled flight and then a flight delay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. They had a shower and a bathtub big enough for the water to go up to my upper arms and most of my body submerged. The bed was so comfortable and cozy. They have room service and also a restaurant. They have luggage help and the hotel is directly above US departures area. The room overlooked the runway and mountains. They even include a plane spotting guide! I would definitely love to stay here again.

You’re right on top of the airport, 5min. walk for us:) Fairmont was great about getting us into our room early:) Wife hurt her leg on cruise and couldn’t walk:( Fairmont put us in a handicap room:) let us use a wheelchair:) helped us down to airport check-in:) I could talk about ALL the things we loved about the Fairmont, but the customer service was EXCEPTIONAL! Their people went above and beyond ????
