This review is for both our Dec and Jan. We stayed here as a layover from TOR to AUCK and AUCK to TOR. Wish we had done this layover all the previous visits to New Zealand instead of hoping off the TOR to VAN flight then VAN to AUCK. Dec Stay-we were hours late due to Air Canada so were given an accessible room wish no tub to soak in after our uncomfortable AC flight but just wanted to get to bed. Jan Stay-experienced the room we had originally booked for Dec with a full bathroom which I would love to replicate at home, lol. Overall Very Clean and Comfortable-friendly staff and location can’t be beat of course. Enjoyed the pool area both times. Would stay again-price is high but when you are the only hotel in the airport…well.

Stay here even if you don't need to! huh? Yes, it's great! What a terrific hotel inside the Vancouver airport, a short walk and elevator away from our gate. We booked 3 rooms after landing at night, woke up and had breakfast (included). Avocado toast, eggs benedict, fresh salmon, it was quite amazing. The rooms were large, comfy beds, big showers and quite the view of the runway. We checked out and took a scenic 2 hour drive to Whistler. Huge upside surprise staying here. wow good!

We needed a hotel close to Vancouver airport, to help with a long layover. The Fairmont could not have been better placed - it’s in the terminal building and you can print your boarding pass next to the reception desk! The hotel itself is beautifully appointed and the staff were truly wonderful, attentive and welcoming. I’ve been a long standing customer of the Hilton chain but my eyes have been opened to the Fairmont. Thank you for helping create a wonderful start to our special Christmas holiday.

We stayed here for a few days for business meetings in Vancouver, it was convenient to stay at the airport. Yes, the rooms are pretty sound proof, and beds comfortable, however the frequent interruption of the waiters in the restaurant and bar pushing more drinks on us was irritating. The restaurant and bar were not clean either, greasy food stains on one of the chairs and nut crumbs in the seat were not appetizing. The venue is pretty average for the caliber of the hotel and location at best with prices reflecting its convenient location.

The room was spacious and clean , check in was quick and easy, the staff were friendly and helpful and the bed was very comfortable. After a long day of traveling my husband and I needed sleep before our connecting flight. We really enjoyed watching planes take off and land from our window.
