Great Hotel - Great People. (Perfectly located for cruise passengers.)

We stayed for four nights before our cruise. The hotel is perfectly situated for cruise passengers, as it's directly opposite the cruise terminal at Canada Place - a nice easy and short walk. The location provides plenty of opportunities to walk to Gastown or along the waterfront, too. Lots of shops and restaurants, and the seaplane airport is a five minute walk. The Gold Concierge team could not have been more helpful; from before our arrival to after our departure, (yes, really) they were always happy to answer questions, offer useful advice and tips, and help us with booking trips. The Gold lounge and terrace were comfortable, although the terrace would perhaps benefit from some more shady parasols. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. It had a great view across the harbour, too! Housekeeping were friendly and did a great job of looking after us. We enjoyed the visit to the hotel's rooftop beehives and gardens - interesting and entertaining. On departure, we were impressed to find that the bell staff collected our suitcases from our room and checked them on to the cruise for us. That's a great idea, well managed, and made for a very easy boarding experience. Overall, another excellent stay at a Fairmont hotel. We're looking forward to returning soon.

Enjoyed our stay at the Fairmont Waterfront. Great location at Canada Place. Very nice hotel with a great view of the waterfront. Friendly staff. Large room. Walking distance to cruise port, restaurants and other local sites. Tour pickup spot.
