Close to China town. Easy to walk everywhere! Extremely clean. Spacious rooms. Very warm, helpful and knowledgeable staff.

This was my first stay at the Carlton Plaza. I was pleased that met or exceeded best Western standards. The staff were friendly and helpful, and my room was spacious, clean and quiet. Excellent location in downtown Victoria.

Liked the location close to everything and save on foods memorial centre where we were attending an event . We had a kitchen suite that had all we needed to cook up our own dinner and was a nice clean suite with a nice comfortable king size bed and air conditioning The only thing I had difficulty with was opening windows which my husband got for me We dropped off our stuff and parked our own vehicle at Johnson parkade which was a few minutes walk I would stay again clean comfortable and great location

This was a wonderful hotel experience! We arrived at 10am - super early for check-in - but the Receptionist made sure we had an upgraded room (“No way is a Platinum member going to wait on my watch!”) to settle into immediately. Clean, comfortable, wonderful bed & pillows. I even received a daily text to see how we were doing & if we needed anything. The hotel is just on the edge of the central tourist area so very walkable. Parking is valet only (there is a public garage very close by) and they were wonderful retrieving it & parking it as needed. 2 elevators. No breakfast but Ruby’s restaurant is attached & open for breakfast & lunch. The hubby & I agree it will be our go-to hotel in Victoria.

Amazing staff. They were friendly, courteous and professional. Truly a service with a smile!! One of the best staff experiences I have ever had.
