Overview
Nestled on 15 lush tropical acres along Aruba’s famous white sand Palm Beach, the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino is waiting to make your getaway one that surpasses every expectation. This Caribbean resort has undergone a multi-million dollar renovation that maintains the iconic design of its original architect, Morris Lapidus, while also bringing in 21st century amenities that enhance its Aruban vibe and create an unforgettable resort experience.
From endless ocean vistas to soothing tropical breezes to the warmth of a Caribbean sun, the natural beauty that envelopes Hilton Aruba would be enough on its own to make your stay ideal, but the standard for comfort and luxury is set so much higher here. Unmatched amenities include the beachfront eforea™ spa, beckoning with a Japanese-inspired bamboo relaxation area, outdoor cabana, signature treatments and modern fitness center. Guests can also enjoy water sports, such as diving and snorkeling; two zero-entry pools with cabanas; bicycle rentals; a Kids Club; guest activities program on and off property; and so much more. On the long stretch of pearly white sands in front of the hotel, lounge in beach huts or “palapas” to escape the sun and have food and beverages delivered to wherever you have set up your spot for the day. And The Casino Aruba at Hilton, offering table games, slot machines and tournaments, is a guest favorite with its Vegas-style play.

Papaya reservation period was shortened? Why??
Rich S on Jan 10, 2026
We’ve been staying at the Aruba Hilton twice a year, for a number of years. We love it there. We were planning on going back in April, 2026. However, we just learned that starting in 2026, the Palaypa’s are not available to be reserved until 2 weeks prior to the day they’ll be needed. It had been 6 weeks prior, before this change. In addition to this, there are now a lot more hotel guests due to the availability of the 161 recently constructed guest rooms. So, if anything, you’d figure the Palaypa reservation time would be lengthened, not shortened. On a sub-tropical island like Aruba, your Papaya (and its location) can often play an integral part in your vacation. Therefore, perhaps management can give us an explanation for their hard-to-comprehend decision. On the surface, it seems to defy logic.
Stranded in Paradise

The hotel felt very exclusive. It’s a small resort so not as crowded. We were stuck here when flights were grounded and the hotel staff worked hard to help us with rooms and services. It wasn’t ideal, but they tried hard to make it less stressful for us. Bradley at the front desk was a standout employee, as were Jeremy, William, and Santiago of the Beach Bites crew. We also really enjoyed interacting with the birds daily — paquita, one, two, rolito, pk, Laura, Guapa and Aruba, and of course our favorite, Pepe. They were the sweetest birds and the handlers were the nicest guys ever. Thank you to the hotel staff for helping to make a stressful stay feel less stressful.
