Guests arriving into Belize City (BZE) will be transferred via an inter-island flight to the regional airport of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye (SPR). Regional Aircraft type will vary between 3- and 14-seat configurations; baggage restrictions and applicable fees may apply. A land transfer from the regional airport to/from the hotel is also provided.

Extremely friendly staff with a great selection of food/restaurants…Maria, Jorge and Henry are all very attentive and will ensure a great dining experience. Josue and Henry at the pool bar make great drinks and are quick to remember your favorite cocktail. Customer service was excellent. From checking in with Joleen and Stacey or having Trish in guest services greet you by name whenever we crossed paths. Johane at the piano bar knows some great mixology cocktail and was great to talk to when we visited for after dinner drinks Blanca and Stacey were also really helpful at the front desk answering questions and sadly also checking us out. It’s always tough to leave a beautiful resort. The grounds are all well cared for and feel very safe. Room service is quick and friendly with a lot of choices. Housekeeping makes sure your room is always serviced…I wish we ran into them to let them know what a great job they were doing…I live a good turndown service! The pool is definitely a draw since there’s not much “beach” to swim at or relax on. Lastly, if you are swimming upstairs on the roof, dining or at the bar; Alisha is amazing up there!

Special shout out to Eric. He treated my family as one of his own, and all of the workers here were truly amazing. I visited San Pedro Belize for 4 days and stayed at the Alaia. I have a large family with 4 children from ages 2 to 12. We had a two story 3 bedroom suite with a beautiful ocean front view of white sand beaches and palm trees. The online pictures do not do this property justice. It was far more beautiful in person. They had a playground and a pool perfect for the kids. The weather was amazing in February. I highly recommend this property for your stay.
