The pool was empty, out of order, but we were still charged over $50+ for some sort of extras? The bath towels were old and worn. We were supposed to have a garden view studio, the desk clerk said he gave us an upgrade. It turned out to be the alley view with much noise, especially early in the morning. Lots of screaming either in the hall way or in the restaurant at night, hard to tell. Bed was comfy as were the pillows. Everyone was friendly, HORRIBLE MAI TAI at the bar! Get rid of it. The bartender tried to convince us that it was like the original Trader Vic’s Mai tai, wrong! My husband is practically a Mai Tai master, we left the bar! Ate somewhere else.

Queen Kapiolani Hotel is an amazing place to stay in Hawaii. The deck is absolutely incredible, and the restaurant/bar area has such a great vibe with stunning views — easily one of my favourite spots to relax. The check-in staff have always gone above and beyond, especially with looking after my early check-ins whenever possible. I’ve also been fortunate to receive upgraded rooms with great views, which made the stay even better. Friendly service, a fantastic location, and an unforgettable deck — I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

It was a good experience. We had problems with the Room because It was strong smell in the First day, but we spoke with the reception and they changed our Room and solved the problem. It was a good hotel and an recepcionist that help us was very nice. The hotel has an excelent location and good facilities as beach chairs and towels free to go to the Beach and a concierge to buy attractions. I liked very much.

I had to fly over from Kauai to Oahu for surgery. The hotel that med insurance set me up with wasn’t acceptable for recovery (In my opinion) . I called Queen Kapiolani and explained. They set myself and my mother up at 7 pm that night. We are so appreciative. And I really enjoyed the vibe there. Very clean , kind staff, good restaurant on site. When I need to go to Oahu next. I will be staying here. Much mahalos to this hotel ??

Great location and lobby amenities that is also quiet while being only feet to Waikiki beach. Looks out on the Zoo and Diamond Head so has the feel of being in nature as well. Fabulous
