Pretty view but that’s it…

Overall the best part of this hotel was the view and the valet workers. Aside from that not worth it. The hidden fees and charges were outrageous, the lack of equal communication across their team was evident. The mattress was AWFUL, one side had a huge hole from people sleeping and it was the most basic uncomfortable spring mattress. The rooms are tiny, showers need updated badly and just isn’t somewhere we will be staying somewhere again.

Great Time at Queen Kapiolani

We stayed for a week in a premier ocean view room and had a great time! The staff was very friendly and the hotel is clean. They had beach chairs and towels you could use every day. The lobby is open air and beautiful. The pool and fitness center are nice and clean. It’s in a great location where you are close to everything but not in the middle so it isn’t loud. Highly recommend I would stay there again.

Cozy atay

GrandTour43124424109 on Apr 10, 2026

We had a great stay overall. The room was clean, and the hotel has a cozy, relaxed feel. Mika at reception was especially warm and welcoming, and we appreciated getting a higher floor room. Service throughout the hotel and at Deck was good, with only a small wait for valet at times. The location isn’t directly on the beachfront, but it’s very convenient—an easy walk to the beach and simple to get in and out by car. The only downside was the $2 per bag charge for short-term storage. It felt a bit unnecessary and a bit cheap for a hotel at this level, especially for guests staying multiple nights—we only needed it for about 30 minutes while grabbing a quick bite.
