Excellent hotel right on the water. Off the main street at one end of Waikiki so it's quieter yet still close to everything. The room was large and spotless; plenty of room as well as a private lanai. Rick, at the front desk, upgraded me on the spot. Large comfy bed. Big lobby area; years ago it was the bag pick up location for the Honolulu Marathon. I'd definitely stay here again.

I’ve been staying at this hotel with my family since the days when the furniture was simple varnished wood. It’s been modernised since then, but sadly, along with the old furniture they seem to have thrown out the family-friendly atmosphere and any real sense of customer service. There were no smiles or warm welcomes on arrival, and when problems came up during our stay, they were handled with complete indifference. I booked two rooms months in advance, only to be given rooms right next to a humming, rattling elevator. Sleep was impossible before midnight, and we were woken early every morning by guests using the lift. When I raised this with the manager, I was told there were no other rooms available. When I pointed out that I’d booked months ahead, I was flatly told that “no one has ever complained about the elevator noise in those rooms.” That response felt like pure gaslighting. At that point, I decided to bite my tongue and put up with it so I wouldn’t ruin my family’s holiday. Halfway through the stay, I was suddenly approached and asked if I wanted to change rooms. By then, I declined and asked to be left alone. I won’t be staying here again, which is a real shame given how different this place used to feel.

They have very kind staff! Clean and attentive to all of your needs. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to others as well.

First time at the outrigger reef. We specially enjoyed the pool and Mr. Joenny was very attentive, friendly and made sure we were taken cared of. Thank you very much!

This property was in the perfect spot along Waikiki beach, we walked to everything during my stay for the Honolulu Marathon. The entire staff is so friendly and inviting and they really take their time to talk to you and listen. Alex at the front desk was so accommodating to us, we enjoyed the on property restaurants, especially Monkey Pod. Everything we tried was so fresh, handmade and delicious! Wonderful staff. The housekeeping is very clean, our room was perfect and we just loved staying here. I also enjoyed the fact that i didnt have to walk a long way to my room. Some resorts are so big it takes forever, but this resort is the perfect size so I didnt have to wait long for a elevator or to run back to the room for something. I would stay again.
