The Outrigger Reef was our honeymoon hotel many years ago. We were nostalgic for the wonderful memories we created then, and happily returned here to celebrate our anniversary! We were stunned by the recent renovations which were completed with incredible detail that preserved its history along with the meaningful artwork and island architectures throughout the lobby. Every aspect of our experiences with all staff, hotel shops (ABC, Local Motion), restaurants (Kani Ka Pila Grille, Monkeypod), and the amazing Voyager 47 Club Lounge was outstanding! We were pleasantly surprised that most staff members took the time to address us by our name - we truly felt the spirit of the Reef's Ohana! We would be amiss not to give special shoutouts to 3 amazing staff members who went over and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our special celebration: Special thanks to Angela for making us feel very valued as returning guests right at check-in. She took the time to explain our room selection, hotel amenities and upgrade choices in great detail. She was so welcoming, patient and kind - she gave us an incredible boost (plus anniversary gift box of Honolulu cookies) to the start of our celebration. Angela definitely went the extra mile to welcome us back! Ambrose is an incredible asset to Outrigger Reef. He diligently helped us with our room upgrade that was avail the next day, and even took the time to phone us to let us know that our room was ready early. From then on, each time we saw Ambrose in passing, he was very friendly and welcoming - we felt his genuine hospitality, love for the islands, and pride for being an ambassador for the hotel. On the last day, luckily for us, we met Ambrose for the check-out. Needlessly to say, he left us with an everlasting impression of the Ohana spirit of this resort! We met Frank with a warm greeting everyday in the Voyager 47 Club. We felt valued and welcomed every early morning from Frank, which literally gave us a boost for the amazing day in paradise ahead. Frank went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed, including all amenities to make our iced coffee/ espresso drinks every morning! Until next time, Outrigger Reef! We would come back to you in a heartbeat!

All the staff at the Outrigger Reef Hotel were extremely kind and helpful to us during our stay. From the moment we got to this hotel we felt welcome! Extremely clean (thanks to Jackie!!) and a perfect location for a vacation. Will be returning!!

We have stayed at the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach six times now and each one has been an absolute pleasure! The staff are so friendly and do whatever they can to make you feel welcome - Karissa, Frank and Alicia in particular as well as Michael who served us in the Lounge and by the pool. All of these people went out of their way to make us feel special and welcomed. The hotel has improved a great deal over the last few years following an extensive refurbishment which now includes a well-kitted out gym, brand new Starbucks and of course the Monkey pod kitchen. We had breakfast there twice and the taste of the locally sourced food is exceptional. A special mention to Stanley, the guest relations manager who always works hard to secure our favourite room and ensures our stay is fantastic every time. It really feels like home when we arrive and we never want to leave. A hui hou.

Room was always kept clean and well taken care of, daily greetings and checked if I needed anything when they saw me. Room has fridge, but would be better with a microwave. Nearby by shopping, amenities all around, center to walk most areas in the area. Plenty of local food shops and out the back door u hit the water… literally… at night.

I had an awesome time staying here! The house keepers, Bonie and Mary were so kind and kept our room clean and stocked with the essentials! They were great conversationalist, super friendly, and made me feel so comfy being there! The hotel staff were so friendly and caring. It was such a breath of fresh air seeing them after a long day of conference learning and training! It was a great location close to shops and the beach which is the best of both worlds! The shops and the restaurants inside the hotel were filled with lots of goodies and the food was delicious! I’d highly recommend staying here!
