Unlike Frank (at the Front Desk AND Voyager Club), I did not learn the names of the folks I encountered at the Outrigger Reef Waikiki. But Frank did, as did several of his colleagues on the resort staff. His/their friendly welcoming “aloha” spirit delighted us during our “pre-cruise” stay. And so when our cruise was unexpectedly cut short, it’s only natural that we’d choose to return to the Outrigger Reef for our unplanned “last night” in Honolulu. These folks are 1st Class, all the way—Hawaii at its best! We highly recommend the Outrigger Reef resort in Waikiki…for beautiful views, great beach access, and outstanding service!

Amazing staff, great rooms, and incredible views.

This was our second stay at the Outrigger Reef this year (loved it so much that we had to return). Having been to the Waikiki area several times, we are now certain that this is where we will definitely be staying on our future visits. The hotel front desk staff are extremely helpful and friendly. A special thank you to Rick, Joe, and Frank. The rooms are clean (thank you, Sharon, for making it so comfortable for us) and if you get a room with some sort of ocean view, you will not be disappointed. We spent most days by the pool and Joenny was always there to make sure everything was going well for us. They have beverage and food service by the pool and Bernard and MQ were on top of things also. The hotel is beach front with a small area for chairs, but you only have to walk a little further to find a larger beach if that's what you are looking for. The location of this hotel is perfect for taking a morning walk and for eating out (although they have two very good restaurants on the premises if you don't feel like venturing). All in all, this is an excellent choice for a wonderful Waikiki vacation.

If you love great service, stay at Outrigger Reef resort. My husband and I recently stayed at Outrigger Reef and had an exceptional visit. The staff is incredible. Every single staff member is joyful, helpful and kind. We truly felt valued. We experienced a small issue and Rick at the front desk went above and beyond to resolve our issue. He was sensitive and compassionate to our needs and we are thankful and grateful for Rick’s service. Our stay was better than we ever expected. We will definitely be joining Outrigger’s loyalty program and look forward to many more stays to come.
