Would definitely Stay Again

icecream16 (crown point) on Jun 11, 2024

Stayed here for three nights before a timeshare condo stay. This hotel is fantastic! Loved both pools and the views are amazing. We are definitely coming back! Staff was really nice and friendly. Was surprised there were no water bottles in the room though. I would highly recommend this hotel for families. The pools are great. The location is the best. I have stayed at the Marriott Waikiki Beach before but this hotel tops that by far. Thank you Sheraton! Rented a car for a few days from Akamai Rentals a few blocks over. They let you pick up and drop off the cars daily so no hotel overnight parking fees. They car was clean and the staff super friendly.

Our stay at the Sheraton Waikiki will be one we remember forever. I highly recommend this hotel. I’d like to call out Maggie, our cleaning lady for being such a wonderful friendly person. I look forward to seeing her every morning. Better hope someone doesn’t steal her away.

Had a fantastic stay at Sheraton Waikiki! Very stunning beachfront views, spacious and clean rooms, and great dining options. Totally loved the infinity pool and friendly staff. Perfect location for exploring Waikiki. Highly recommend!

Pricy but a great experience overall

Location and amenities reign supreme at the Waikiki Sheraton. You’re in a great central part of Waikiki with loads of shopping, restaurant options, excursion launch points and a great stretch of safely swimmable beach. There’s also a surf break at about an easy 100 meter paddle off the shore. The great balcony views and pools might be the best upsides this place has to offer. The kids/family pool is great with plenty of space, slides, a small waterfall and it’s clean/well kept. The infinity pool is totally picturesque and has a fun bar with routine live music next to it. Between Rum Fire and Honolulu Coffee Co, great food/drink options on site too if don’t feel like venturing out every day/night. On the cautionary side, this place is quite expensive (even for Waikiki, which is baseline pricy). Deck/valet parking is above average in cost and you’ll get hit with a resort fee on top of that. Also, the lobby area where you check-in and engage with the concierge is totally loud and chaotic. It’s a busy hotel from the get go and a lot of thoroughfare/passerbys heighten this. Ultimately, it’s worth going here and we’ll surely be back for a staycation in the future!

Customer service non existence

AngelP292 (San Mateo, California) on Jun 04, 2024

I booked the ocean front room, upon arrival, they said I was “upgraded” to deluxe ocean front room. As I entered the room, the view is a mixture of buildings, diamond head and partial ocean view. I was not satisfied to lost my paid truly oceanfront room so I downgraded myself. The “upgraded” room was 3 floors higher but doesn’t make any better in terms of noise level. We didn’t get any housekeeping service after the first night. We used the cups everyday but it was never replaced or cleaned even housekeeping came. The hair on the floor was never sweep away. The stains on the floor were never clean as well. There’s no umbrella in the pool unless you pay $130 a day, same as the beach. Beach it makes sense but how can you have no umbrella in the pool? They are trying to milking you every penny. I asked for a 1pm checkout and it was not granted even the security told me that they are only at 75% occupancy and it is a Tuesday. Your housekeeper will not even have time to clean the room right at noon anyways. The price tag is for the location only but it adds up when you have to pay for umbrellas. Oh and kids club is $280 a day. For these, I rather go back to bora bora or Maldives.
