Good food and good wine
Maribelramz (San Diego, California) on Oct 03, 2024
The food at the Arabic/morroccon restaurant was delicious, also the wine is from the Valle De Guadalupe wine country (not the cheap stuff) is excellent. The rooms are big and clean, pillows are very fluffy. The hot water in the shower is really good. The only one thing was that if you want to order room service after hours on food, you have to pay at a 50% discount, I'm not sure why we have to because it's all inclusive.... they should offer at least snacks like pizza, sandwiches, dessert etc.... but overall resort is magnificent and We will be returning again, highly recommend ??
Expansive beach resort

Went to this resort with some family and friends for 8 days, Found this resort quit nice and very large. (pretty sure there were 3 beaches to choose from). The pools were OK, not so much for selection (2 only), I would say if your more into beaches this the one to go to. The 3rd beach was the longest walk which was nice because it was not busy, & there was a bar at that end as well, a win. The hills could be a bit of a challenge to get to the room (nice to burn off some of the food and liquor), but there were shuttle stops if you were so inclined. The food was good - but I am not even close to a foodie person, although the lunch place beside the main bar has wicked soft tacos. (“El Pescador”). The Gym was big and fully equipped - very nice. Our room was nice with a patio and 1 bedroom, we had an upgrade at some point to get the patio. I would stay here again, but would not promote this place to people who have walking/mobility issues just because of the expanse of the resort and elevation of the rooms. Still a great place to get some exercise and see some pretty beaches.
My winter get away

Located in one of the Bahias this resort is amazing, one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve been to. The beach is calm and clean, perfect for snorkelling, Friendly staff and excellent service. They play the hockey games in the bar, too. Highly recommended to get “all inclusive” or you will need to get a taxi to go to town.
Great for resort lifestyle

Staff was great, except for a female Mayadeliah. The beach bar was supposed to close at 6pm and by 5:45 she was closing and making guests feel like they were intruding on her closing. She was rude and has terrible customer service. Overall other staff was great and the beach on property was great. The property is large and waiting for transportation is not ideal, although they don’t take long, you still have to wait for transportation to get around the property. Entertainment could have been better.
Loved Las Brisas, loved Huatulco!

We stayed atLas Brisas April 14-21 on Air Canada Vacations. Everything at the front desk went smoothly and checking was a breeze, warm welcoming staff! After checking in, went to the concierge desk to book some a la carte dinners, also a breeze and were met again by receptive, friendly staff! Our room was in the mountain section and had wonderful views. The room itself was very clean and spacious. King bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning worked well, which was needed because it was extremely hot throughout the week. Shower had great water pressure and ample hot water morning or evening. Fridge was stocked daily with a couple beer, cans of pop and bottled water. There is a coffee maker with coffee pods restocked daily. Room service is also available for a charge. There were many beaches to choose from and we never had an issue with getting chairs. In fact we had a palapa every beach day arriving around 11am. Swimming conditions were good at most of the beaches. There is one beach near the Mexican restaurant where there is a little reef not too far out that one can snorkel. Bar service on the beach was amazing and staff were extremely attentive! Food in the a la cartes were good, lots of great choices and prepared nicely. Service was 5 star! The Buffet at Las Brisas is perhaps one of the best buffets I have been to - great selection of Mexican and International fare. One night we arranged ($) for a private dinner on the secret beach with lobster, Wow, so worth every penny - would highly recommend especially if you are celebrating something special! Entertainment in the bar was quite good, one evening there was a woman singing what I would say were Mexican classics - she was by far one of the best singers I have heard at a resort - truly amazing! Sometimes there would be a line at the main bar but it did move quickly and if you had a seat at a table there were bar stewards to take your order and they rounded frequently. What I loved most about this resort was it had such amazing Mexican charm, it reminded me of past stays in Mexico from the 1990s. While the resort is decorated in older traditional Mexican decor, everything is extremely well cared for and unbelievably clean. This is one of the cleanest, if not THE cleanest resorts I have seen, from public bathrooms, to bar areas, to pool area, to walkways, to stairs, to restaurants - other resorts could follow the Las Brisas standard! The only thing to consider with Las Brisas is it is built on a hill so there are multiple stairs, they do have golf carts to take you around if you have mobility issues, however if you are like me, the stairs are a good way to work off the margaritas, dos equis on tap, copious amounts of Oaxaca cheese, alambres, Tlayludas and mole! Thank you to the Las Brisas staff and management for such a great stay - we will be back!
