Travelled with family for march break. Kids age 10 and 12. First time to this part of mexico. Very nice area to travel to. Laid back pace. Very warm and consistent sun. Resort is a good size with lots of opportunity for walking and significant hills. If you can't walk there are a lot of shuttles but they are noisy and have a lot of exhaust problems. The rooms were a good size with 2 double/queen beds which were comfortable with a large bathroom with shower and two sinks. Rooms had fridge with basic snacks and drinks. water in room is potable. Very clean and good daily routine. Food was very good for us. Most days went to beach club for breakfast and snack. Lunch at snack bar. We tried all the a la carte restaurants highlights pescardo and solariam low light mediteraneean restaurant. Generally food a bit bland maybe to cater to Canadians. Wine with dinner was good but didn't drink otherwise. Bars made fruit smoothies no problem which kids indulged in. Service in buffets only so so. We used the gym daily, good AC and good equipment weight up to 50lbs and general circuit training. Good spin bikes and treadmill, stair climber. Shows were decent considering size of the resort and region not as good or long as those at Palladium in mayan. Did not try kids club as kids too old. Beach are excellent for kids. Sports facilities are in good condition and nice for active ppl. Did one tour of the area by guide with walking around the city, this was over priced but good if you are nervous.
Wonderful vacation

We love Las Brisas in Huatulco. The staff, customer service, amenities, the variety of food and everything the resort has to offer is great for our family. This was our second stay at Las Brisas and we will return again. The beach area is beautiful and the pool is great. We loved it!
Very Disappointed

Food is very bland. The fact that I could only make restaurant reservations twice for what I paid was ridiculous. Staff were very nice but it was not sufficient for the price we paid.
I would come back just for more lessons from Paco, the tennis coach!

We had an excellent time. Food was great, the staff were amazing and extremely friendly and there were lots of sports to keep us busy. Just a special shout out to ‘Paco’ the tennis (as well as pickle ball) coach. He was excellent and extremely helpful for an old dog like me learning new tennis tricks. Thank you so much Paco. I would come back just to have more lessons from you! :)
Tennis Instructor at Las Brisas

This is my second time at Las Brisas Huatulco and while the whole experience has been phenomenal, and the service outstanding I wanted to write a review specifically for Paco, the tennis instructor. Paco is one of the best teachers I have ever encountered. I have been “playing” tennis on and off for 40 years, with no formal lessons. In just 2 days Paco taught the proper forehand and backhand technique and a proper overhand serve. He is professional, knowledgeable, kind and direct. He knew immediately that I grip the racquet with two hands for my backhand, without me even showing him. If you are ever at Las Brisas and want to learn tennis or improve your game make sure to try out the lessons with Paco, and say hello from me!
