The resort is very nice. The unit was fine except I was surprised that the studio was a murphy bed. We almost always get studios because we are not in the room much. The front desk was very nice but not very helpful since, apparently, the unit was owned and managed by an outside company. May have been owned by an individual and managed by the outside company (Vacations internationale). The unit had not shampoo or conditioner and we were told we had to buy our own. The unit had one day of coffee for a seven day stay and, again, we had to buy our own. Vacations Internatonale was responsive to our phone call and provided coffee for $1 a day. I realize this in somewhat minor but I have never heard of a major resort not providing shampoo, conditioner, or coffee. There was no laundry detergent either although there was a washer/dryer unit in the room. On the flip side, the resort was very nice and the room was well provided with appliances. I would probably stay there again but these minor problems were an inconvenience.
Good Property Bad Front Desk

I just made a reservation for October at the property for two weeks and I am second guessing my decision. We stayed there last October for two weeks and I loved the property but did observe rude behavior by the front desk staff. Today I was given a rate and was trying to understand the significant increase in price per night and was told by the woman on the line to take it or leave it. Wow just wow. If you decide to stay here, I guess this is the kind of treatment you can expect. I have worked in meeting planning and with properties booking hotels and events for years and never have been told to take it or leave it. Very disappointing.
