This was our first trip to Maui, and it couldn’t have been better. The resort is beautiful, the beach is beautiful, and the views are unbelievable. We swam with sea turtles and even saw whales right from the resort. The grounds and landscaping are breathtaking. The food is a little pricey, but aside from that, we absolutely loved everything.

Gretchen in reception is a delight. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived on Nov 29. She went way out of her way to accommodate us and to make sure we got the perfect room. She was very sweet, polite, and efficient. We see her everyday and she always has a smile for us and something sweet to say. We need more Gretchen’s in this world!! The bellmen and valet attendants are amazing, bringing our car to the front door in no time! All the waiters and wait staff have been excellent this far. The luau at the hotel was excellent, not crowded, food was great with lots of variety, the drinks were yummy and free during the entire show, the show was really good, and everyone was very nice and friendly. Our vacation is still going, and so far so good!
