We stayed here at the beginning of December and had truly the best experience from start to finish. Starting at check in, the desk was amazing, explained everything about the resort and made sure we had a beautiful room. Gina and her team are amazing! Then onto dining. The on site restaurant is amazing. Great food all around, and our server Cara was incredible. Always showing up with a smile and making our experience feel so special. We cant wait to see her again! The bar makes amazing cocktails and we were always excited to see Melissa was working because we were sure to have a great time talking with her. The overall vibe of the resort is amazing. Its quiet, friendly, clean, and updated. Beach access was closer than we imagined and we spend time there every single day. We loved hopping on the trolley going to the golf course and to Whalers Village to shop and have a couple of meals. Incredibly convenient location! Finally before we left, Ford made sure that we went home with a piece of Maui. We will never forget that! If you're looking for a calm, quiet place with the most incredible staff, do not skip this resort. It feels like family is taking care of you and we are already planning our next trip back! Thank you for making our honeymoon so enjoyable.

I had an amazing time visiting Maui for the first time and my experience at The Royal Lahaina resort made it even better. My cousin and I were treated with nothing but kindness from all staff. A special shout out to Gretchen at the front desk. She was so kind and helped us immensely during our stay. When I come back to Maui I will definitely be staying at The Royal Lahaina resort again and that’s due to the outstanding staff and the amazing property and view. A+

Royal Lahaina is a wonderful resort with truly outstanding service. Janet, the manager, has done an excellent job leading both the property and the team. Every staff member made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend this resort. Insider tip: ask for Uncle Ford—he’ll point you in the right direction! We can’t wait to return.

I booked the Tower standard room, they are extremely outdated and the bathrooms are pretty gross. I was excited to try this hotel based on reviews i’d seen on social media but don’t believe the hype and stay somewhere else.

Booked a room at this resort for 4 days! Gina was very misleading and rude when we tried to understand what happened . Well we Used a debit card and was told that if in any case we went over on charges we’d have to pay before we left. I thought in my head duh, ?? however on the third day my daughter granddaughter and I were locked out of our room with NO NOTICE. Imagine being locked out of your room with a tired cranky 2 year old over 4,000 miles from home . I had no idea they would charge the resort fees when they felt like it or just decide to lock you out when they feel like it too. To say we went over $95 and that’s why she locked the room is insane when I only spent 12$ today because wasn’t it over YESTERDAY as well?? According to her the system checks everyday but I guess it skipped yesterday. Not to mention this wasn’t our first stay here and this was not mentioned during the other stay either. Everything was charged at the END of the stay but no worries we will not be returning and all our friends family and everyone who will listen will know NOT to book here!!!
