A stupendous hotel with stupendous service

Marc H on Jan 13, 2026

This "much younger cousin" of the Fontainebleau in Miami is absolutely stupendous. The Collins lobby bar was truly one of the coziest bars I have ever been in, without any exception. The hotel was delightfully decorated, the layout was well-thought-out, the staff were extremely friendly. The VIDA restaurant downstairs had terrific breakfasts, and the other restaurants had imaginative, truly delicious cuisine. The only thing is that the Chez Bon Bon pastry shop, although it had a lot of breads/cookies, had an extremely small selection of pastries compared to its "brother" in Miami. That was disappointing, but that was literally the only item we could single out, even if we tried to be overly critical. We would recommend this hotel to anyone!

SKIP THE SPA

Tour56923836397 on Jan 11, 2026

The Fontainebleau hotel itself is wonderful—beautiful property, warm and friendly staff, and excellent service throughout. Unfortunately, the spa experience was deeply disappointing and did not reflect the quality of the rest of the hotel. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SKIP THE SPA. I booked the Five Point Massage and received virtually no massage at all. The treatment consisted mainly of excessive oil and hot towels (which it calls wraps). Very hot drops of oil were applied to my head and then wrapped in a hot towel, which was uncomfortable rather than relaxing. My feet received the same treatment. There was no actual scalp or foot massage. The only thing done to my hands was a brief scrub, followed by a hot towel to remove it—again, with no massage. From start to finish, this “massage” involved zero hands-on therapeutic bodywork. There was absolutely no "tension-melting massage" as advertised. When these concerns were brought to the spa manager, Lynn, the response was dismissive and showed a complete lack of concern for the experience. No effort was made to address the issue or acknowledge the problem, which only compounded the disappointment. Given the spa’s pricing and reputation, this experience was unacceptable, and it was a shame it ruined the end of an otherwise great trip.

Mini-bar nightmare

Robert H on Jan 11, 2026

During my prior visits, of which there have been three or four, I have not encountered any significant issues until this occasion. While I was in my room observing the playoffs, I received a notification regarding a charge to my credit card. Upon investigation, I discovered that the hotel had billed me for mini-bar items. I subsequently verified this charge through the message center on the in-room television. I contacted the hotel front desk and explained that this was an error. They informed me that they had emailed the mini-bar staff and that if no items were removed, they would issue a credit. Approximately two hours later, this issue recurred, and this time the amount was substantially higher. Now I need to speak to the manager because this shouldn't still happen without any hotel staff checking. I said something is wrong and the manager seems to be use to this complaint and was laxluster in fixing or trying to see why this has happened twice. This was to be my last night in Vegas after spending a week at CES convention and it turned into a nightmare. They are charging hotel guest for something that they didn't use and hoping they wouldn't find out. Something is wrong with this system. I will probably stay somewhere else for my next visit. Also I have rewards that seem to be unusable.

The BEST resort in Las Vegas that you could ever stay at!!!!!!

pamc768 (Orlando, Florida) on Jan 05, 2026

I have stayed at 90% of all the Deluxe 5-star resorts in Vegas over past 20 years and this Resort has been my FAVORITE that we have ever stayed at anywhere in the world so far. The resort was very big so we had to do a lot of walking; however, that was the only drawback since I am now a senior and have mobility issues, but that is not the hotel's problem. This resort had everything you could need or want; there was no reason to leave other than to see a few sights that were added in the last 5 years. The Beds were Beyond Amazing; I have never slept in anything so comfortable in my life. Service was top-notch, Hotel was gorgeous, parking in the garage was fairly easy even though they were crowded over the Holiday season. Food hall was good and plenty of restaurants for all tastes and budgets. Rooms were very spacious and had a chiller for our own beverages, though it would have been nice to have had a coffee maker in the room, however, no big deal. There was a steamer in the closet instead of an iron which was a little heavy to use, but it was fine. Housekeeping did a great job keeping us clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy and our room was ready when we arrived and it was early their time even though it was afternoon our time after flying from the east coast time. I would definitely recommend this resort if you want a luxury place to stay for a reasonable rate with all the comforts. The casino was very nice as well, not too smokey and had a blast the 5 days I was there. I hope to go back soon.
