Just a mid level hotel
Cory B on Jan 09, 2026
Me/Hubs went to LV in April for the USW Conference. We did not arrange our accommodations. We've been to LV several times & even were married there 22yrs ago! Harrah's was a budget friendly hotel. It was just "mid" check-in was speedy which was nice but, the hotel itself was lackluster. There wasn't much to do the shops were small & uninteresting. Would've bought something at the crystal shop *its something I'm into but, everything was way overpriced. *Thats Las Vegas though. The restaurants were alright Hash House for breakfast was nice. It was actually too much food. Bobby Flay's burger joint was overpriced & just "ok". Expensive for an alright burger & fries. Our room seemed alright at first *Nice view of The Sphere which we went to see The Eagles! Awesome! Bed comfortable, TV didn't work * I need background noise to sleep. So that was annoying *asked to gave it fixed at the front desk & nothing. Left for the entire day to come back to the smell from what can only be described as someone farted in our room all-day! It was pretty rancid. Went to the front desk & nothing. Left the room & hoped for the best. The shower was leaky & was clearly a slip/fall waiting to happen. The pool which was advertised as "heated" was certainly not which was a bummer so I sat outside & just chatted with the ladies drinks were expensive but, was really awful was the double digit price of a bottle of Coke. Annoying price gouging. So, get pop & drinks at the liquor store much cheaper.
Perfect location for our family adventure

Location was perfect as we were there to see The Wizard of Oz at the Sphere. We were able to walk to many of the venues and had easy access to the monorail. Plenty of on sight restaurants and easy access to these close by.
