High Resort Fees and Everything is outsourced - Even Guest Services!

tiao121 on Jun 11, 2025

You don't have guest services on site. I had to contact a call center. That is not guest services! And, they never could give me an ETA for solving a problem. The lighting in my room was minimal. There was no light at my desk where I needed to do work in the evenings and no light at the seating area by the window (table and 2 chairs). The window didn't help at night, obviously. Took 2+ hours of waiting and multiple calls to finally get a lamp (40 watts at best) to light up the desk. Then the next day, the TV went out - and when the maintenance man finally fixed it, the tv was working differently. He had to do a hard reset (took 7 minutes) to get it working properly again. However, for the duration of my 4 night stay, the TV had to constantly buffer every 5 minutes or so, but it didn't pick up where it left off, I lost content. Awful! And, when I called "guest services" I often got in a call vortex and routed to the wrong departments. Too, when someone was supposed to come to my room to handle a problem, I would be told to remove my "Do Not Disturb" sign or they wouldn't knock on the door. There was no "Do Not Disturb" sign in my room, like most hotel rooms would have. Additionally, when I checked in, I was asked if I wanted daily room service and I responded "yes". However, housekeeping did not provide service on my first day. I called and was told I needed to request housekeeping on the days I wanted it. The second day, I decided I didn't need housekeeping, so I didn't ask for it. You guessed it --- I got it anyway! Figure it out folks! And finally, I was paying $56.63/day for a mandatory resort fee, yet I didn't use any of their facilities and I used my cell service for my internet and calls. What a rip off!

Robert s on Jun 10, 2025

I have been going to Harrahs for 45 years but I won’t be going back anymore ..I spent 2 nights , one was comped and the other night was 88 dollars , on top of that they added 50.00 a night resort fee , charged for parking and some other taxes and the total came out to over 300 dollars , just tell me the room is 300 bucks .. don’t pretend it’s 88 bucks ….then when I got to the room they wanted 20 bucks for in room coffee … 18 bucks for a Fuji water such BS , shame on them and thier greed …. They lost a loyal customer

No AC!!

Rick F on Jun 10, 2025

The AC did not work in our room. The front desk sent up a maintenance guy who replaced the filter but it didn't get any better. The front desk was not willing to move us to another room so my wife, who just finished radiation for breast cancer, were left to try and sleep in a room that was over 80 degrees the rest of our stay.

Excellent room to stay

azelenaw (Chicago, Illinois) on Jun 10, 2025

Love my room on floor 21 at Valley Tower. The elevator will be express all the time. So quick to get to your floor. The slot machine in Harrah’s is too tight no fun. Go to Royale Casino better I played blackjack there and won a little money. Bakery at Fullerton St the coffee or beverage is good but if you get apple turnover or apple fritter or anything with filling, almist there is no fillings in it.

Good time ine Las Vegas always

JOHN N (San Francisco, California) on Jun 09, 2025

We went to Las Vegas for the weekend. The Harrahs' location was excellent being right on the Strip and next door to the Venetian and Sphere where the concert was. The room was clean and the check in process was quick and efficient at the kiosk. The staff was attentive and responded to our requests.
