Basically Caesars Palace at a Higher Price

Hugh W on Nov 26, 2025

I booked the Nobu Hotel expecting a refined, Japanese inspired luxury experience. In reality, it is basically the same as staying at Caesars Palace since the hotel is located inside Caesars and operates at the same overall quality level, which is on the lower side for the price. There is a separate Nobu check-in area, but the lines were long and both check-in and checkout involved noticeable waits. The promised exclusivity did not translate into convenience. We paid extra for a Strip view and instead received a view of rooftop AC units with a small amount of the Strip visible behind them. The room itself was nothing like what you would expect from a high-end Japanese hotel. There were no modern Japanese toilets or thoughtful amenities. The room felt comparable to a Holiday Inn Express, except the furniture, hallways, and finishes showed clear signs of age. The hotel also seems to nickel and dime guests. I was charged $21.68 for simply using the in-room coffee pot. Parking was another $20 per day. For the price, very little feels included. In hindsight, I should have researched more. A quick scan of Reddit afterward revealed threads titled things like "Is staying at Nobu really that bad?" which now make complete sense. Overall, Nobu feels like a premium label placed on an aging Caesars product. For the cost, there are much better options in Las Vegas.

Not up to Nobu hotel standards

sftravelsforwine on Nov 16, 2025

While the staff is friendly, the actual service delivery is severely lacking. We rented multiple rooms for a business trip and were told there was no guaranteed check in before 6pm. The window starts at 4 but if you have business dinners or other events planned, their best solution was offering to let us change in the lobby bathroom. We finally got into the rooms and there were no irons and after calling down and being told they'd be right up, it took 45 minutes. Overall, it's absolutely not up to the quality level of the Nobu in Cabo, for example, and not a place we'll repeat on future business trips to Vegas for conferences.
