New Years 2026 behind the strip
TP528 (Las Vegas, Nevada, Usa) on Jan 03, 2026
Since it was New Year’s Eve the check in line was long. They seemed to get the line down fairly quickly considering they were not fully staffed. I was in line maybe an hour. Staff was friendly and helpful, but I am surprised no online check in. The casino seemed really clean. I had the accessible shower room with strip view. Great size room and view with wonderful shower. It said roll in but it isn’t there is a lip about 2-3 inches high. Beds are comfortable which is great for my bad back. The pillows… could be better. The food court is misleading as I was told it is located in the hall of the north tower which it is not. It is further down in the sports book. Pretty expensive and the cashier was not helpful at all. We asked for the hotdog combo that is advertised online and they failed to tell us it didn’t exist. Instead charged us $50 for two hot dogs with fries and two drinks. The food was decent but over priced and misleading online. Plus, they charge $1 for carry out and doesn’t have sturdy carry out containers nor any bags to help. We also did room service. A little pricey but great portions. The pizza, chicken tenders, onion rings, and Texas toast were great. The coleslaw needs a lot of improvement. The biscoff cheesecake was the perfect texture and taste. Not too sweet, and tasted just like the cookie. They no longer leave the table. Everything is boxed and bagged. The delivery staff is very friendly and patient. For desert we tried the Carlos Bake Shop vending machine. They are cold and said best to eat at room temperature. We split the confetti, double chocolate, and black and white cakes. All very good but the white cakes are not very moist and their frosting is a little much. The arcade was fun. You do have to purchase a card to load money onto. Fast and furious, and Jurassic park wasn’t working which was a bummer. The variety of games is decent. The variety of prizes are ok and easy to pick from the machine. Checkout was pretty quick. You can drop you keys off in the box by the checkin/out line. I had to switch payment method so I stood in line. It was a simple process. All in all we had a great time,
Been here many times!

This place is like a second home. From the dining to pool to the staff, it’s fabulous. Nalani is the best and takes amazing care of my husband and I. September we were married there and had our wedding dinner at Fresco. Chef and Yelena went above and beyond for us. All of our 53 guests said the meal and drinks were fantastic! And it was! Thank you Westgate.
Worst hotel experience
Latonya H on Jan 03, 2026
This hotel stay was the worst I have experienced in my life. We did not receive housekeeping services until our third day, despite multiple calls requesting service. We ran out of toilet paper and had overflowing garbage. We called and requested housekeeping on our second day when we ran out of toilet paper. They brought more toilet paper but simply left it sitting outside our door. No housekeeping. We called again the morning of our third day and requested housekeeping. We left for a few hours and came back to no housekeeping service. We called again and were told someone would come. We came back half a day later and still had no housekeeping, only garbage bags left outside our door. We called a third time and requested a manager. We were told there were no records of our previous calls, but now that they knew we needed housekeeping, someone would come. They sent someone who could only empty the garbage but could not clean the room. He requested that a housekeeper come. Our room was finally cleaned at 1:30 a.m. on our fourth day. Not to mention the valet parking. They charge $20 per day but attempted twice to charge us $20 multiple times for the same day, within hours of each other, even after we showed a receipt proving we had already paid. It felt very dishonest and scam-like. Lastly, we went to the restaurant Sids. The restaurant is decorated nicely with chandeliers, but the quality of the food is what you would expect in a cafeteria. The ambiance and the food are complete opposites. Do not be fooled. Avoid this hotel at all costs. There are so many better options in Vegas.
Arlene at Barry Manilow

My visit was to see Barry Manilow on 12/4. I asked if a certain usher was there (Arlene) and she was . I met her 2 years ago at a Barry performance and wanted to thank her for kindness that she showed me and o showed her our pictures from that event. She was so kind and gracious! I truly can’t explain how incredible she is and talking care of Barry’s fans!!! Thank you so much Arlene for an incredible experience!! Gina
