Despite emailing the assistant manager ahead and asking at check in to recognize 2 birthdays in the group nothing was ever done. Service people friendly Bar drink very low quality cheap alcohol and no taste/flavor. Glasses not properly washed with soap or hot water just quickly rinsed with in pool bar for reservice. Have to upgrade for 60$ a day per person star class to get any brand name alcohol and some other meager benefit. Resort credits worth less as spa and gift shops price terribly inflated so no value or savings there. Variety is good but quality of goods low. Buffet food mediocre. Hot chocolate cold every day, signs posted do not match the food, food recycled from dinner to breakfast so on and so forth you can see the reheated products. Juices watered down. Coffee good. Lots of variety but again from recycled food. Very disappointing for a us Based chain no consistency in quality of food upheld. Only buffet for breakfast and lunch and guy fieri’s. I think if GF saw the quality, taste, presentation and size of food served he will yank his name. The burger party is like a meat ball in The middle of the bun. Service is very slow. The sides complementing the main dishes in the buffet do not match. One server seemed annoyed that I asked him to serve the slice meat and just slapped it onto the plate. My husband slipped and fell twice on the slippery in The bathroom. Coffee maker and cups in the room but no coffee or condiments? Check in process ok and room was ready so good there. Lack of signage in lobby so don’t know where to find anything and no general concierge available Very lacking in activities one show per night and nothing in the pool area especially for kids No value for money ant this resort.

We are renewing our vows, and we decided to come to a place that we have never been before, which and we chose this place.Based on the location price and reviews. Let me tell you this place.Dwells on customer service.If something is wrong and nothing is perfect, things will go wrong.It's human error they are quick to fix it to your liking. HOWEVER, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU GET THE STAR.CLASS SERVICE... SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY BETTER ROOMS.BETTER SERVICE, PRIVATE BUTLER THAT WOULD CATER TO EVERYTHING YOU NEED. The breakfast in the morning for the star class.Private, a la carte breakfast near the pool is something i've never seen. Everything is made fresh to order opposed to a buffet.I have lactose issues, and I have issues where I must run to the washroom.Every time I eat breakfast, this is the only place I never had an issue. Food sometimes take a little longer due to the amount of people.But it's worth it. SO LET ME EXPLAIN TO YOU WHY YOU NEED TO COME HERE.. THERE IS A MANAGER OF A STAR CLASS BREAKFAST RESTAURANT NAMED RANDALL. This gentleman and I strongly could see the word gentleman, not an employee loves his job and dwells on customer service.You see, my wife loves coffee, and we had excellent coffee made for us, but mister randall said please come tomorrow.I will take something from my home.My personal machine from my home and bring it for you.So you can taste authentic coffee from costa rica. NOBODY HAS EVER TREATED MYSELF AND MY WIFE WITH SO MUCH RESPECT. HE PERSONALLY MADE THE COFFEE IN FRONT OF US.POURED IT, BUT IT WASN'T JUST HOW WE MADE IT.HE POURED HOT WATER IN THE ACTUAL COFFEE CUP TO HEAT THE COFFEE CUP TO A HIGH TEMPERATURE BEFORE WE DRANK THE COFFEE. HE SAID IT HELPS WITH THE TASTE. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT US. Forget about starbucks they can't compare. As a man I started crying ! Why would an employee who have known less than three days?Take his personal item from his home.Bring it to work just for me.Who am I?I'm just another customer.Why would he do this? He told me because he loves his work.He wants me to have a good experience.And to remember the hotel and to remember the service. He didn't just do it for me.He did it for your company.The hotel, and I want you to recognize the type of employee that you have no other employee ever did this for me.In every hotel i've been through in the last ten years YES, IN THE LAST TEN YEARS OF MYSELF AND MY WIFE, TRAVELING THROUGHOUT THE SPANISH ISLANDS, PORTUGAL, JAMAICA, TRILLAD, CUBA.DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, ANTIGUA NOBODY HAS EVER TREATED MYSELF OR MY WIFE WITH SO MUCH RESPECT ! RANDALL ..100/100 I REALLY HOPE MANAGEMENT RECOGNIZED THE TYPE OF EMPLOYEE YOU HAVE.AND HOW MUCH HE LOVES HIS JOBS AND RESPECTS THE CUSTOMER. NEXT...Kimberleen... Wow wow wow! After knowing me for less than forty eight hours, she knows my wife's first name.My first name and our allergies by memory.Despite how many customers she serves, i've never seen her in a bad mood even when she was really busy.No matter what happened if there was an issue she always smiled.I'd never seen a person smile.So much with their customers and she loves her job.She tells me that she wakes up at 3 a m every morning.... To be at work 46 thirty a m because she loves her job and she loves what she does.I don't know where management finds these people.But you better give them a raise.Excellent excellent customer service.I only eat at her table because of Randall and Kimberleen. Soon as I walk in with my wife, she has a smile.She remembers my table.She remembers my last order and she remembers our allergies.I don't have to tell her she tells me.Wow, i've never been treated so well unbelievable. Last but not least....Hillary.... Just as good as kimberly ...remembers our names.Our orders and she always checks on us every ten minutes. How did these staff know who we are?And know our orders by memory and our allergies.And remembers our favorite table.How is this possible? They also go back on our behalf to confirm our order with the chef to make the chef and confirm with the chef that the orders are done correctly.Never, ever had an issue beautiful customer service. MANAGEMENT, YOU NEED TO PROMOTE THESE PEOPLE INTO SENIOR LEVELS.YOU'RE WASTING THEIR TALENTS WHERE THEY ARE.THEY NEED TO BE PROMOTED IF I HAD MY OWN HOTEL.THEY WOULD NOT BE SERVING, THEY'LL BE IN THE HEAD OFFICE OR IN SENIOR MANAGEMENT.YOU NEED TO PROMOTE THEM BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE.YOU HAVE A DIAMOND IN DISGUISE. FINALLY RANDALL, PLEASE STOP MAKING ME CRY AT MY TABLE WITH YOUR KINDNESS WITH YOUR HONESTY.AND WITH YOUR RESPECT, YOU NEED TO STOP MAKING ME CRY. THESE ARE THE THREE REASONS.I WILL BE COMING BACK ! No, I do wish there was more activities to do in the evening other than a disco.And more things to do at the pool, but you know what, food quality kindness and respect overshadows everything you can have everything you want in the pool, everything you want.In the nightclub, all the activities.But if you don't have the respect and the kindness of the employee's, it's not going to make your trip enjoyable, because of them, I look past the lack of activities.I look past the lack of the shows in the evening because these three employees make up for all of it. Costa rica is a beautiful country tomorrow.We're going on a private tour.Just myself and my wife in a private car for 8 hours throughout costa rica to taste the local foods and go to different beaches at a reasonable price.That's also what the hotel offers.I recommend that as well. Because of your employee's, we are coming back if it wasn't for them.We probably wouldn't.We probably going to a different island but we are coming back.Probably within the next six months.Good job, guys, good job, professional, classy and very kind and respectful. Again, management, they should be promoted immediately.We travel 5l destinations a year.. Including one cruise a year. I've never been treated with so much respect and kindness.By any employee on any island. All three are amazing...but Randel you're super amazing ??. Attached below, is a photo of Randall /manager who went to his home to take his personal machine back to the hotel to make us coffee in the morning.It's an upper class coffee machine done by hand as at his own expense. That's what he did for us.What other island employee would ever do that for you?
