I’m writing this review from my room at 7am on a Saturday as the strike commences outside. The hotel should have absolutely provided advance warning about this. Just outside the hotel, from 7am to 4:30pm, there seems to be a daily strike. Two white noise machines and earplugs do nothing for the noise. I was hoping to use this trip to catch up on sleep, but that’s definitely not going to happen. I can’t imagine spending time by the pool would be at all pleasant with all this noise.

Stayed at the here from 28 March 2024 to 31 March 2024, was the worst experience ever. The hotel is in the middle of industrial action and the is active protests happening at the hotel. The striking workers are using drums and horns and the noise is unbearable. The front exit is blocked by striking workers and you have to use the side entrance. Due to the strike there is no cleaning staff, and our room was not cleaned for the duration of the stay. There was no attempt to move us to a room that was not facing the street, or a higher floor, to escaper the noise. Best of all, the hotel was still happy to charge the full $350 per night for the horrid experience, and did not entertain a discount for the inconvenience cause. There was also zero correspondence about what was happening throughout they stay. Also paid $50 per night for parking and the vehicle charger didn't work. Fine for me, because I had a hybrid, but electric car owners beware. If you are booked here, do yourself a favor and cancel it. To check if they are still affected by the strike action google LA hotel strike. I wish that they would have had the decency to tell us about it in advance and we could have made alternative plans.
