Excellent service from Ismael at the royal elite pool bar. Gilberto N. and Arturo at the breakfast buffet restaurant are very attentive and kind. EDGAR is exceptional. Loved the Finisterra. 4.5* We returned to Cabo after a decade and we're very happy we chose this hotel. The food was exceptional as was the service. The rooms are large and well kept and the views are amazing. We went to a few shows and enjoyed them, as well as the daily yoga and pilates classes. The location has an amazing plus which is the marina being literally across the street, while also having a beautiful beach. If I had to pick cons I haveca couple things to keep in mind. One downside for us was not being able to walk the beach (no swimming like pretty much everywhere in Cabo,) but the beach is very deep and soft so it was too hard a walk. As well, aside from breakfast all is a la carte, so lunch for the non RE guests is either poolside or the same menu for the week. Delicious, but a bit repetitive. Neither would be deal breakers but things to keep in mind. Finally the hotel is older, which we generally prefer, and well maintained, but there are definitely some areas around the pool that are uneven from missing stones.
