Good location

JDTravelhome (Canada) on Apr 06, 2024

Everything you need from a small city hotel. For the most part a fairly clean building for as busy as it was. Only thing to keep in mind is the extras all have a cost. Hotel parking is around $20 for the the day. They have a resturant here which is good but not included in your room price. Many places to eat nearby with a short walk or drive. Small exercise room and pool area were all nice. Rooms were clean with very comfortable beds. Overall we were happy with our stay

High pool chemical levels

Melissa T on Mar 06, 2024

The hotel is lovely, but the pool chemical levels caused so much irritation for the kids eyes. The adults didn’t go in and our eyes burned and watered just sitting in the pool area. The hotel room, staff, and restaurant are very nice. We had to go and buy eye drops after the pool.

Good location but...

André G (Oromocto, Canada) on Jan 29, 2024

The room we had was noisy, we could hear when the elevators were in use and when someone was using the stairs. The toilet was always refilling every 15 minutes. The only good thing we found was its location. Probably should have went with the upgrade (for more money), it might have been better.

Provides Poor Value Especially Marriott Bonvoy Members

iverge (Toronto, Canada) on Sep 27, 2023

Was here for a week long stay… I’ll start with the good… Hotel has provided employment and opportunities for new comers. Ukrainian room attendants and lounge staff from Philippines were absolutely wonderful. They always went above and beyond to assist. Wifi was very good speed and TV channel selection was extensive. Not so good… As a Marriott Titanium member was not even upgraded to a Club floor. The hotel is operating the lounge at the bare minimum and some days not even that. The impression it gives is cost cutting at every turn, from the shortened breakfast hours of 6:30-9, the thinly cut fruit and cheese, to the poor quality and selection of offerings. One day I decided to work from the lounge and the coffee machine was not working. I contacted front desk and someone was sent up to look at it, but 2 hours later the machine was still not fixed nor was an alternative solution found. During this time, other guests dropped by and were disappointed that they were not able to get a cup of coffee. I had a chat with the on duty manager and she was very receptive to my feedback. My suggestions were to set up a temporary coffee station and address the poor selection of “snacks”. I was encouraged to see a temporary coffee station setup and bananas added to the fruit plate along with keeping yoghurt (from breakfast) in the fridge. However, the next day no bananas and the yoghurt was either not replenished or removed. In-room AC unit was leaking water onto the carpet. If you are a Marriott Bonvoy member, lower your expectations because the lack of an upgrade and the poor state of the lounge, there is no “value” to staying here. My corporate rate was the same for the Residence Inn down the street but I selected Delta because of the “value” of the lounge. I regret staying here because I would have received a larger standard room (even without an upgrade) and a hot breakfast until 10:30AM at Residence Inn.

Great hotel in downtown Moncton

258christend (Edgewater, Maryland) on Sep 23, 2023

Great hotel with good service. It's right by the water and so easy to walk around town. You can walk across the street to experience the Bay of Fundy daily tidal Bore. This was way cooler than I expected. There is plenty of parking as well. They were wonderful with dogs.
